In US on H1B for 5 years. Currently waiting for PERM. God knows how long it takes. For backup, I need to apply for Canada PR. My H1B expires in Oct 2010.
I know I am out of luck for AINP as my profession is IT - Programmer/ Application Developer. What are my other options that are fast and might get me in Canada before 2011. I know this is asking for lot, but I cannot find any new threads on H1B canada options as AINP seems to be phasing out for very common occupations of H1B's.

Canadian PR is not a backup for US PR... People like me apply for Canadian PR through AINP to settle down in Alberta for personal reasons... Don't screw the system for selfish reasons...
