Guys ,
Is there any fix timeline for PPR after medical ? Buffalo seems to me is the slowest of all for issuing PPR.
Please share your thoughts.
Regards

Hi ksandip,
I submit my medical on 1st of july and CIC buffalo received it on July 13th and since then I am waiting... Every time I inquiry about that they either say" we are waiting for the background information" or they say "your application is in process we can give you a timeline"....
|
to la22ir:
hi
The same on my case - nothing change on my e-case and when you ask Buffalo I get the same information so copy/paste.
Waiting... Waiting... Waiting... Waiting... Waiting... I am tired now :o(
|
to only44:
That is so ridiculous . I have order "CAIPS" notes lets see what "CAIPS" has to say. I will update you once i will receive it.
|
to ksandip:
Thanks ksandip!
I hope You get some information.
And I know is ridiculous - sometimes I feel like somebody not important for them - They have to know that emigrants who would like to be a PR want help build this country, bring some new Idea etc.
by the way:
most of us are humiliated, sometimes employers are using us for the worst work etc and here is no help for temporary workers (sorry I know couple of agencies who can "help you" - but you can lose everything but employer only have to pay some fee (not big one - so is not hurt them) and they still can hire some other employee from other country.) so most of us have to be quietly to the end of the process and most of employers know that so they using this against us.

Hi
Have any of you guys got any reponse this week? according to immigration website my application sholuld be finished on December or january since I started on April. Do you guys know if they are like 100% accurate about the timing???
|
How to contact Buffalo regarding the status? Did you guys call them or email? It's been almost 3 months after my medicals were sent out but i haven't even got the initial assessment letter. I'm really devastated now...
Thanks a lot!
|
to only44:
Thank only44~i'll email them anyways cuz that's the only thing i could do besides waiting for the stupid AOR...
it might have been lost/missplaced somewhere who knows...

to florawangye:

Hi only44
We should buddy up lol...How much does CAIPS tell us? is it helpful to request it in my case then? i don't know if it's normal that they sent you medical forms without even an AOR? what if my AOR really got lost, it will show up on their computer system that it's been sent?
Cheers,
|
to florawangye:
Mine was sent on 18th August 2009. Its so frustrating. I have no idea what is causing the delay.
|
to ksandip:
My CAPIS notes also says PA B'FD date 01-11-2009. and no news yet.... We might get news at the same time. let me know if you get any updates
|
to ksandip:
to ksandip:
Mine was sent on Aug 15th...what i saw from other PNP forums was that some visa offices ran out of numbers for this year so had to wait to next year to approve any new cases...i don't know if it was true but i hope not..this is torture
Where did you request the computer print out?
|
to ksandip:
To ksandip:
Thanks very much for this info. i'll post here if anything new comes up.
Fingers crossed for all of us!
|
to florawangye:
Guys,
I am hearing that this year PR quota is finished thats why buffalo is not issuing any visa . Is this true or just a rumor.
|
to ksandip:
This is what i saw from other forum..it's a reply from Detroit consulate:
---
Good afternoon,
your application appears to be ready for visa issuance in January, 2010. We anticipate sending the letter in December 2009. We have reached our target for visa issuance in 2009.
Regards,
immigration and visa
Canadian Consulate General

I guess it might be similar for Buffalo or other consulates....
|
to florawangye:
I always thought everyone who lives in Canada has to send the application to Buffalo office for permanent residency. Are you sure it is a PPR visa and not visitor or any other ones?
|
WOW so that means we will have to wait until Jan 2010 that sucks. I hope atleast we can find out soon my medicals were sent out on August 26th 2009
|
to Almostthere09:
hi!
I received PPR today - so that can be rumor or that information can be for some other visas.
regards
|
Can you please share your medical dates and was it from Buffalo?
Thank you
|
to Almostthere09:
Congratulation!!
Did you get email or snail mail ?
|
hi
I just looked so I guess I should get it in 20 days :) keeping my fingers crossed.
|
to ksandip:
Only44 got it I m still waiting. Also wonder if his online status changed prior to getting the PR
|
to Almostthere09:
hi!
I ask Buffalo for my medicals about October 5th and they told me - they have.
My PPR was sent by email.
my e-case still say "in process"
regards!
|
to only44:
Have you ever ordered you CAPIS notes? I was just wondering if you have what was the B'FD was?
|
to la22ir:
hi!
no I did not order the CAPIS
and I do not know what is the B'FD - sorry
|
to only44:
Thanks. B'FD is the bring forward date in CAPIs notes.
I sent my medical very before you and I haven't received anything yet....
|
to la22ir:
same with me .
I wish we will get something this week.
|
Almostthere09: did buffalo ask you for any additional docs when you got your IA?
|
to KhanNT:
No they didn't ask me for additonal documents
|
to Almostthere09:
I didn't know they email the PR request.
|
to Almostthere09:
I think it depends on the communication method you choose on you application. althought it is good idea to always check the emails regulary an d also the spam inbox
|
to only44:
Thank you so much, Actually I was getting too many junk emails so I have changed my email address, checked the old email but I dont see anything. Can you send me the email address they used to send it??
Thanks
|
to Almostthere09:
I tried going through my email no luck, Do they also mail it. I want to contact them but I am afraid they might push back my file.
|
to Almostthere09:
You can ask them about your process time or what is going on with your application this not delay your process but what they tell you will be copy/paste answer.
|
to only44:
Ok I guess I should email them
|
to Almostthere09:
I did my medical on June 12, 2009 and still waiting since than. So furstrating when you expect that AINP can be faster than other processes.
I just sent a fax to buffalo at 16139415043 let see if they resond back to me. I need my PR because I moving to Toronto on temp. work permit end of December.
|
to only44:
I sent them an email couple of times but they sent that standard reply with no helpful info in it. I saw it in another forum about fax number and that is why I sent them fax.
This is helpful information. I will submit my case specific inquiry with them through this link.
|
to Faiz:
Hi
la22ir,
Did you get anything our files suppose to be looked at 01-11-2009 . Did you sent them any inquiry . No news from my side .
|
to ksandip:
Hi, Ksandip,
I sent them an emil 2 days ago and they answered
We have requested background information from other government offices(s). Unfortunately, we cannot provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete.
Canadian Consulate General Buffalo
Immigration Section
the usual paste and copy answer.
|
I will wait until the end of this month and then email them. Mine is probably the same background check.
|
to Almostthere09:
Hi my ecas shows "medicals received" as of 9th Nov. I sent NY an email asking for timeline this is what they replied
"We have received your medical results and your file appears to be ready for a final review."
can some one pleas explain what does this mean? Seniors?
|
to ichintu:
Altough I dont know much but it seems like that its moving faster once the file goes to some place else from Buffalo. I guess you are about to get yours soon. All the Buffalo people I guess they dont care to update the status on ecas and are running behind so hang in there keep your fingers crossed.
|
to Almostthere09:
thanks for giving me hope. Does any one know what it means for a case to be up for final revie does this mean my background check is complete?
