On AINP website, they mentioned the time frame for H1B based applicants as 4 months/8 months. But does anyone know what are the ACTUAL time frame for cases? We applied for in late June 2009 and haven't heard anything (Not even AOR) as of now.

It's around 18 to 24 months now cos AINP increased the waiting time, your best bet is to look it up on the Alberta Government website has it might have changed since we applied for it in 2008. Unfortunately we failed our AINP due to my husband not having enough 'work experience' as a cabinet maker, but he was laid off from that job last May and recently got a job as an auto glass fitter which is skilled work and has years of experience plus it's a supervisory role as well so we're applying for PR in the Canadian Experience Class category.
Hope this helps :)

I am in the same boat. I had applied for AINP with H1B in mid June 2009. I have not received a file # yet.

Be patient, As she said it is better to see Alberta Gov't website for time frame.
In my case I applied for AINP H1 stream in the month of April last week. I got File No on Nov 3rd 2009.
In official website they mention that it will take 12 months to get Nomination or Even more time......
