How to track the File no?
Hi I got my File number, can anybody over here tell me how to check the status of file.

I assume your file number is on your Acknowledgment of Receipt from the visa office. Choose "immigration file number". If you have already dealt with CIC in the past (e.g. a study permit, visitor visa, etc) you may try using "client ID number", which is an 8-digit number on your previous visa in the format XXXX-XXXX.
But your file number should suffice.

Immigration Canada is not very reliable in keeping those updates up to date! Not very helpful in most cases!

Only your wife can check her application status. If you want to know your wife's application status you have to ask her for her immigration file number.

I have my file number I have applied for qubec skilled program and have file number however I am unable to check status online can any one guide me and more over they have asked me and my spouse to provide french profeciency certificates can any one guide me is it necessary to provide these results and will they waive off interview if these results are submitted..

You are trying to check your Immigration-Quebec status using a federal case tracker: your case is not there.
Immigration-Quebec does not have a file status tracker. Your best bet is calling the office responsible for your country (where your file is being processed) and ask. When you receive your CSQ and apply for permanent residence at the Canadian consulate/Embassy/High Commission you will receive a new file number and that's when you can use CIC's E-cas system.

I applied for Quebec Perm residence visa and year ago and today I was checking my status online and they said decision made and visa office going to contact you you regarding the decision. what do you think is the decision made can be?
I have Traffic convictions in US and I dont think this may cause any problem..

Assuming they already asked for Police Check and Medical exam was done, you should be fine. The officer must have already sent you the PPT request, so just relax you're almost there!

You will not be able to access or check status for CSQ application. Once you get CSQ and submit everything to federal for PR, then you'll get a file no and be able to check status online.
