submiting the documents to the wrong canadian embassy

i'm from lebanon and after i have gathered all my documents for csq , i submited them to the canadian embassy in beirut on 4/1/2010 then i realized that lebanese citizens applying for csq should submit there documents to the canadian embassy in damascus. i thought that i should receive a profile number but i haven't received nothing from the embassy. i just want to know if everything is ok. plz help
