Ok I have looked them up now.

Our Lawyer in Toronto faxed CHC London on Friday to find out our status, so maybe next week we might get to know something.

Hi All , My application for Permanent residence , Fsw was submitted by my lawyer to Sydney Nova Scotia on may 27th 2009 , Due to some payment problems between China where i live and Canada, i decided to cancel the appointment of a representative , given the fact that CIC says that an applicant can cancel the use of representative at any moment, and must notice the CIO , I sent a courrier to the CIO to with a filled form to cancel the appointment of a reprsentative on June 19th , During my last communication with my ex lawyer, he informed me that they were waiting for a note from the CIO after the submission of my application. and apparently , he hasn t got any me either.
I have been waiting for a notice from CIO , but haven t gone any yet , i am a little worried .
Please has aybody been in this case before?
How long does it usually take for the CIO to issue a note about the reception of an applicant's file?
Thanks a lot!!
Chris
