Hi,

We received the letter on the 11th but it was dated the dated the 10th so I've amended my file to reflect this so you get a clearer picture, you have 120 days to return the requested documents.

Hi Paul,

Congrats on such a speedy turn around with your documents. They seem to have really slowed down on med requests from a couple of months ago where it only seemed to be taking 1-2 months from people sending their documents back. There seems to be very few people reporting Med Request recently, so I guess you are joining us now and back to waiting!

Thanks guys! Just waiting for the medicals now, I know they take normally 1-3 months so it won't be long now.

Congrats.

HI Paul,
congratulations on getting your med's request, really getting fed up with waiting for ours. We sent our addittional info back 09 May by recorded delivery, checked on line and delivery was confirmed on Monday 11 may, after contacting CIC London they are confirming receipt 18 may. Its a right royal pain in the behind not being able to plan things.congrats anyway to yourselves.

Hi Paul,

Congratulations on your passport request (jammy bugger). How come they are sending out requests by e-mail???? I will have to keep an close watch on my e-mails. Does the e-mail come with a delivery / read request, so they know you have actually received the request?
Once again well done.
Have you decided where / when you are going?
Posted by PaulR on 21 Sep 2009
Thanks guys! There's no read receipt request so I would double check that you don't have any over active spam filters in place to be on the safe side.

We're going to Burlington, ON. Will be landing mid november so cant wait.

Hi Paul,
Thats rather brave, right at the start of winter. We are initially planning to stop with relatives the other side of Toronto towards Peterborough. Hope everything works out for you, but it has got to be far better than here, If you dont mind let me know how your first winter goes. Bye the way what line of work are you in?

Hi Peter,

We don't have any family in Canada so we're having to rent initially, looks like we will be in Oakville just north of Burlington and closer to Toronto which is good. I have a share in a web hosting company and will contiue with that in Canada.
