Dear npnotesin,
Congrats on getting the medical. I checked your case on canadavisa too. Could you let me know what is your e-cas status and what date is there? It should be like "We started processing you application on Mar-**, 2009".
Let me know the date. I am tracking my case accordingly.
ThX

i have question out did anyone check with Bank that when their Check got cleared after sending application? If so could you please mention the date here?

Normally CIC clears the cash within two weeks of receiving the application unless amount is wrong. Thanks

frehman005, CIC, Buffalo sends a letter and updates e-CAS

Got a letter from NY consulate requesting medical exam report and Right of Permanent Residence fee. Apparently, NY has not received the medical report. My doctor mailed the report and UPS tracking states that was received in Ottawa on July/13.

Called Ottawa office on Ph# 613-941-2170 and 613-941-6641 but went to the voice. Later faxed my information(file#, medicals done date, Name, Date of Birth, email id) to Ottawa office at 613-941-5043 and within 5 minutes, received an email that my medical report is at Buffalo and it will reach NY office by mail tomorrow morning.

eCAS updated today to 'Medical results have been received'.

Any update in your case? I have been waiting for a long time, but looking at your timeline, looks like you have been waiting for longer than me (unless you already got PPR, but forgot to update here). Thanks.

nix1, No updates from NY yet.

@npnotesin
Did you hear anything in the meantime? Our ecas was Updated the same day but I still didn't receive PPR yet. Kind of hoped it will come in early this week as a whole bunch in the states received their PPR early last week. Waiting sucks, eh!

Npnotesin,
have you gotten your PPR?
And if you havn't have you tried asking for the status
of your application.
cos last wk b/w 3rd and 16th couple people mailed NY
and the response was that
"We have received your medical results and your file appears to be ready for a final review.
You will be notified in writing of any additional pending documents and /or requirements.
Thank you for your interest in Canada."
let me know what you got.

Hi npnotesin

How are you doing? Congrats on your PPR. I also got PPR request. DID you already recieved or mail your passport? Are you in US or Canada? I found out NY only mails passport; there is no other way to pick up. How are you making out? Will you update your status about passport?
Thx..

I am in US and mailed passport on 01/07 and it reached NYC on 01/08. Hopefully, they will mail it next week. I will update the status as and when I receive the passport.
