Have you received the RN or got the info over phone?

LotiGC, did you send your 485 directly to TSC? or it is transfered from NSC to TSC? Thanks!
Posted by LotiGC on 01 Aug 2007
I filed directly to TSC. And, yes I got my numbers over the phone. I was keeping track of my I-140 LUDs and it was updated on 07/30 and again on 07/31. I knew something is going on there. So, I called them this morning (08/01)... abd voila here it is. They entered my and my wife's case in the system on 07/30.

Which number did you call? I called the 1-800-375-5283 number and the lady said she couldn't not help because the case filed to TSC

Please ignore my question. I got it.

Interesting. I have somewhat similar dates as you, but my application went to Nebraska, so it's slower. I got my EAD one week ago, whereas you got it on 10 Aug. Wow, is that because you filed in Texas? I don't get this. Who files in Nebraska and who files in Texas?

I think the rule of thumb is where you got your I-140 approved from. My 140 was approved from Texas, and my lawyer was smart enough to know where to file. Almost all the lawyers have filed to NSC regardless of I-140 approval.

Guys,

Please keep intouch with me too, I have the similar PD date as yours.

LotiGC,

My case is right behind yours in PD and RD!! I will become current on 1st as well. I took an Infopass and visited USCIS last week. Of course, that was no help. All she would say is "Your case is still pending" and when I enquired about NC, "Everything is fine". No indication on whether it has been assigned to an adjudicator or preadjudicated awaiting Visa availability, or whether NC is pending or cleared. Since then I have been refraining from calling them because I see that people are having mixed luck with these calls.

So, let us keep in touch and I will be following your case closely. Anyway, Good Luck to you! I hope you and I get it in May itself becuase at the rate at which they have been using up EB2 India, I am afraid that it may become unavailable again in June.

Thanks arihant for the update. Good luck to you too. I called IO last week and she told me that my case is not Even EB2, its EB3. We both were looking at my I-140 approval notice and we both agreed that Approval type field has 203 (b) (2). She kept insisting that its EB3 not EB2. I just laughed and kept the phone.

Hi LotiGC,
Congratulations.I had a similar suspicion about my I-140 case , called the customer service to check my approved I-140 case. They confirmed it is EB2.But as soon as I hung up the phone, noticed a LUD on my I-140 case. Before I could ask the rep about my I-485 she hung up.I have no clue why my 485 case is not being picked up..my PD has been current for months now..nothing seems to be moving.I am also told my case it with officer,pre-adjudicated in December and currently under extended review(whatever that means). After seeing your post , you got me thinking ...if PD/EB Category was the issue..but it may be something else.
