After waiting for more than 3 months, I finally could speak to an UCIS officer that gave me the receipts number checking in their system. I placed a call every day to check on the receipt numbers, and yesterday I still was not in the system. Now I am. Hopefully I can get fingerprint notice and hard copies of the receipts soon in the mail.

Btw, my petition was filed in Nebraska (LIN) and receipt numbers i got today belong to Texas processing center (SRC).

Thanks for posting your status and comments. It helped me. My application was mailed on July 23rd to Nebraska. Still I didn't hear anything from USCIS. Please post the USCIS number you called.

Hi trd123. Im glad to hear my experience is helping you. I was so discouraged. Today I had an e mail from my lawyer confirming the USCIS has cashed the fees, but the receipts hardcopy is not in my mailbox yet. If it does help you, let me say that along my conversation with the USCIS officer, he said they are really overwhelmed with more than +800-thousand applications and that they are making extra efforts to honor the 90 days timeframe to issue the receipts, and was only recently -three weeks ago- when they started massively to send receipts to applicants with petitions based on employment. I noticed that my receipts can not be input in the online USCIS online tracking system because they said they have not been able to update the public side of the system yet although the numbers are correct and started getting processed already. The phone number I have called many times is 1-800-375-5283 . I hope this helps you. cheers.

fbolanosusa, Thanks for posting the contact number. I will call USCIS if I don't hear any thing by Thursday. I heard from friends that they got their hard copies in 1-2 weeks from their receipt notice date. My attorney is not that helpfull in providing information.

Good Luck

Brief update: receipts hardcopies received by Oct 25th 2007. Want to mention that the USCIS Notice date is correct, but the USCIS received date its far diferent from my fedex receipt date. I shipped via fedex on July 17th 2007 and fedex gave me USCIS signed receipt of July 18th, but in the copies I do have from USCIS yesteday the reception date is August 13 2007. Based in this information, there is a gap of almost 25 days where my file was somewhere else and USCIS is not honoring the confirmed and signed fedex delivery date at their facility. I would like to know if it is relevant or it is a mistake that has to be fixed.

Hola
