Nope! no LUD before approval.
texandude, I am just following up what you said. I called CIS and talked to IO. You were absolutely right that my EAD renewal was VOID because of the 485 approval, and I do not have to go to the bio app this Friday. I also confirmed that the card is on the way! So thanks!
