I am looking forward to coming visa bullettins. May be July 2008 will be good, or wait till 2009 quota starts October 2008. Keep my fingers crossed.

Hey there - Congratulations! When did you file for your EAD extension ? I'm trying to figure out how long it takes USCIS to trigger an action on your 485 once you file that (if in fact it does do that).
EAD renewal filed on June 23rd, paper filing. Check cashed on next day. I did call Nebraska by POJ method and speak with IO. She told me my file is taken from the shelf, and in line for adjudication. Didn't tell me how long it will take. So spending $680 for EAD did the trick. You can do this or call by POJ method (google , if you want to know about it) and ask for service request.
Thanks a lot for the info. I know about the POJ method, just don't want to use it since I'm clearly not out of the range of processing dates yet. Anyway, this gives me enough anecdotal support to request my HR to start my renewal process. Thanks a lot. Enjoy your green card.

I have near bouts the sme RD and my file is with an officer since June 20 (NSC). Haven't heard anything yet. Did you speak to IO on June 23rd ?
I did call on June 30th.
