there was no change in my online message --> case received and pending, just saw updates. figured that it was backend processing thats doing the update..

Posted by aadithya on 10 Jan 2007when you log in to USCIS to check on your case there should be a Last Update Date column. I usually log in once a day (i know i really need a life) to check and see whats going on. I started to see LUDs on my 485 case on the dates mentioned.
Side bar: there were also LUDs (as late as Jan 2) on approved 131 and 765 even though both apps were approved early Dec.

Posted by aadithya on 25 May 2007no RFE yet. I will get in touch with my lawyer and confirm. But the processing dates at NSC went from Sept 11, 06 last month to Aug 13, 06 this month. I guess i have waited this long. I cant start any kind of process unless USCIS is 30 days past my RD: Oct 16, 06.

I definitely know that my case has been submitted for name check but am not sure of the date. Hopefully we can keep each other in the loop if you get any updates. Thanx.

i think it def has. i called the FBI # and they said that my name check was sent back without any issues in Dec 06. Not sure when it was started but keeping my fingers crossed. Other than labor taking forever, everything else has gone smoothly.

Absolutely nothing since Feb. I moved in Feb and the last LUD must have been the updates to my address in the system. Since they are processing Sept 06 apps, hopefully I will know more. And you? have you called the NSC to check the status for your name check?

i did and the FBI lady was quite nice and said that my results were returned the same day i had my FP done. That was back in Nov 06. I got a lot of LUDs after that until Feb end. From Feb to now, nothing...

Sorry for your stuck in NC! But why are you still stuck in NC if FBI did return your NC back in Nov 06? Did you tell NSC that you called FBI and they already returned your NC?

FBI sent back my fingerprints the same day, but name check is a separate process. I did talk to a IO a while back and found out that the only thing keeping my appl from being approved is NC.

If you use right combination of menu options, you should reach an IO at your service center (which in your case is NSC).
Call 800-375-5283
Enter 1-2-2-6-1-LIN#-1-1-3-4
You should "You are being transferred to Nebraska Srv Center"
Also if you are at NSC the wait times are usually 5-10 mins or mabe more.
If you get connected immed., you most likely have been connected to NSC (national srv center) . these guys dont know much, so hang up and try again.
I have called at between 11:30 AM-12:30 PM Eastern Time and always go through.
When you get thru to an IO, ask them very specially that you are calling to check if name check has been approved. And if it has, if your case has been assigned to an IO. If it has, you should get your approval very soon after that.
If you do a "POJ Method" search on Trackitt, you should find several posts discussing this.
