hi, rcesar,

how did you find out your name check is 'approved', through Infopass? I got about the same number of LUDs since last week with two recent ones on 07/26, 07/27. the case status remains 'case rece'd and pending'. every time there is a LUD, I thought the next day I would get an approval email, hasn't happened yet. hopefully next week we hear something.

Hi,

I also got 2 LUD last week. No status change... I see you are in the same situation. Let's keep in touch.

Yes, I find out about the namecheck through Infopass.
I had 4 LUDs last week, the last one on the 27th. I was also expecting an approval soon but it didn't happen. My status didn't change either. Still "case received and pending".

Interesting. You said in one of your posts that your namecheck was cleared in May. And yet there was no LUD registered at that time. Is that correct? Thanks.

Mark

Hi Swoca,
That's corect. I had a LUD right after the FP in February and no more LUDs untill late July. I had an Infopass early July where the IO told me that my namecheck was cleared in May, but that didn't trigger a LUD. About one week before approval a saw a bunch of LUDs in my process.

hi rcesar,

i wonder if you can help me out again. i finally got my card and the letter welcoming the new permanent resident the day before i was supposed to move. i am so happy about that. do you know if there are any more documents to expect? is the approval notice just an email or is there an actual document? thanks again so much for your help and also for continuing to help others in this forum even though your case has been approved already.

Hi sharkmd,

I cannot be 100% correct, but what learned in this forum is that, besides the card itself, Texas sends you an approval notice (form i-797 stating your I-485 approval) ans Nebraska sends you a welcome letter. That's it. There is no more documents to receive.

Since you have your card on hand, you should try to update the Address in your process, just in case. Althoug they only accept address change in pending cases, since yours is recent there is a chance thay can accept it.

Anyway, don't forget to send form AR-11. You have to fill it everytime you move, even with the Green Card.
