Hi,

I saw that it took 2 months for you to get the FP notice.
I may be experiencing similar problem. My receipt date is 4/10 and today is 5/4 (25 days) and I haven't received FP notice yet
While I saw that people with similar receipt dates in Texas with Premium Processing have their receipt date to FP date of around 20 days.

Do you know why yours took so long? Do you live in an area where there are many high tech companies and so perhaps the FP center is very busy?

Thanks.

By the way how many days in advance of the finger print date do they send the notice?

Don't know why it took a month. I thought a month or two was pretty average, wasn't complaining. Although trackitt shows some FP turnarounds for 20 days, many are 2 months or more.

I go the notice for the 5/4 appointment on 4/26 by mail. I noticed the LUT on https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp updated on 4/23, and the notice date on the form said 4/19.

Hi again,

Well actually if you filter out to only show TEXAS cases and those with PREMIUM I-140 (so that it is an apples-to-apple comparison) and sort descending by "Receipt Date to FP #1" column, then out of the 75-ish cases so far tabulated with that data in trackitt only 10 is > 40 days.
That says that 80% of the people got their Receipt Date to FP #1 less than 40 days.

So perhaps I am worrying too much like I always do. Maybe it is because I live in a location where the FP office is very busy (because there are so many companies here that have foreign workers who - I think - all deal with the USCIS).

Thanks for your information.

Good luck with the remainder of your case.

I have the feeling that they also take into account the labor cert date. Mine is fairly recent (less than 12 months), and it seems people with quicker fingerprinting have really old labor certs....

Hi aus75, How do you know your name check has been apporved? Also, what was your RFE about?

Thank you,
 Posted by aus75 on 04 Oct 2007
I called USCIS via the service 800 number and asked a live person nicely. The RFE was about my birth certificate, they thought they didn't have a translation but they had it all along, just didn't see it clearly. So we sent it again, just to be sure.
