No, the lawyer says to wait for at least 15-20 days... as you may know my lawyer is such a pain to deal with..
Called NSC yesterday, they said they've loads of packages sitting in the mail room, and asked to wait for few more days.

Have you called USCIS to ask them if they have recieved your RFE or did you take infopass appointment to inquire about your situation. If yes what they said? Have you resubmitted your response to RFE ? If yes have your case status updated to case processing resumed?

I sent the 2nd set of response last week, and no update yet. I will wait until the end of the week and take the InfoPass, but someone told me that it is useless because they will have the same information that is available online.
It is frustrating but we have no choice but to wait... whats your status did you send the 2nd response yet?

I had the same issue with my lawyer too, if the response is not registered in USCIS system, file will be automatically marked for NOID proceedings, so wait until RFE deadline date and if you see still dont see any LUD change you can tell your lawyer to resubmit the response. What was your RFE about?

can you please explain your statement little bit more.You said if I dont see any LUD by my deadline to respond then I resubmit my response? but if they will not acknowledge the receipt of response by that time will my online status change to denial God forbid?As I read your posts I ve noticed that you recieved 2nd notice of RFE sent on your deadline date because it was not registered in thier system by that time? Does that show that case has gone for NOID?

My 1st RFE deadline was June 30th and since the system didn't register the RFE response by then my file was marked for NOID proceedings (I was told this by NSC service agent when I called on July 14th, but the online status didn't show that) and thats when I asked my lawyer to resubmit the RFE response, which they did on July 24th.
I strongly suggest you to send the 2nd response right away, it woundn't hurt to send it and make SURE to put the RFE letter on top
