This is my son's case. Somehow he didn't receive "card was ordered" message like me and my wife did even though his LUD was updated to 01/02/2008. Seems like his case was "touched" but the status is still pending. I guess it might be due to the fact that his name is the same as mine, so USCIS officer might think that we are the same person and one green card is enough. Another version: my son is a young boy and youngsters are not required to have name check done. At least something like that I was told on InfoPass appointment.
I will follow up with InfoPass in a month.
01/03/2008. Current Status: Approval notice sent.
"On January 3, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS."
