The interview was straight forward. IO initially took our I-94's but when I pointed out that we need to travel, he returned them. My lawyers have sent all required documentation to IO. So, now its again wait and watch... :) |

 Posted by panky5 on 16 Dec 2008Well, my interview was similar to yours. thre are a few differences though. He took my I-94, and also cancelled the H1B without prejudice! He has asked for a I-134(affidevit of support for wife) and company's 2007 tax return. I have received a letter for it and am replying back. When asked to have the I-94 back, he refused by saying you no longer need this as you are Intent Immigrant status now. Not sure what I could have done more. Let me know if you get any updates on your case.

Pls keep a copy of the 864 when u fill it up. There r some questions which r confusing. Im assuming ur atty is assisting u with it. If so i will have some questions for u from ur 864. Let me know when ur 864 is ready.
