I have no clue - all DOL asked was a signed ETA form.
Even my attorney has no answers at this time (Murthy's Law Firm)

Got the following response from PLC Atlanta -
Thank you for your e-mail to the National Processing Center concerning your case filed under the PERM program.
Your case has been reviewed by an Analyst. The Analyst’s review of the application information revealed unique issues that must be addressed before an accurate final determination can be issued. You will receive notification when all issues have been properly addressed and the final determination in your case is complete. You will receive notification of the final determination via regular mail in approximately eight (8) to twelve (12) weeks from the date of this response.

InspectorFox-
Did you personally contact PLC Atlanta or did you go through your attorney/employer?
I am trying to know if it is ok to directly contact PLC w/o attorney/HR.

I contact PLC Atlanta directly and got the above response from them. This is not a conventional protocol but I am very frustrated with the answers I am getting from my attorney. In my personal opinion AILA Liason is a total waste of time for getting any case related updates.

InspectorFox,
Agreed. I am not too happy with the answers I am getting from my attorney either. Bottom line, I think once the case if filed, the attorney's interest wanes......and they know too well changing an attorney while your case is being processed is not feasible. So much for caring about the "clients". Thanks for the update though and best of luck.

Here is the latest on my case on 07/10/2006 -

On Thursday 07/06/2006 my attorneys received a response from the DOL regarding my case. (Please see below) It did not provide any additional/useful information. This week my attorneys are going to contact the DOL and remind them of the promises made at the AILA Conference.

Thank you for your e-mail to the National Processing Center concerning your case filed under the PERM program.
Your case is still in process and official notification will be forthcoming.
Applications are processed in the order they are received. However, because each application is unique, processing times may vary depending on the specific circumstances of the case.
We apologize for the delay.
PLC Atlanta

There is so much injustice and discrimination in the entire PERM system... while few applications get certified in a single day others like me suffer silently forever and ever... SHAME SHAME ATLANTA!!!
