Posted by reyzel on 10 Apr 2008oo nga nauna ka lang ng 2 days at maaga yung passport request mo, feb 27 ka ako naman march 29(april 1 nakarating sa makati passport ko), iniisip ko august e dumating na sa akin.
wala na bang hiningi sa yo kundi passport lang( ano itsura nung na recd mo na letter, yung bang may 23 items sa likod at yung naka check lang ang isasubmit mo? magbalitaan tayo kung ano ang development ha.. ano pala YM mo para maka chat tayo about this?

Posted by jmv1217 on 10 Apr 2008yeah, that's the kind of letter i received. they asked for my marriage certificate. i am in toronto now on visitor's visa. i got married here and it takes a month from registration of the marriage before the registrar here can issue the marriage certificate. so when we submitted our file we included only a "record of solemnization of marriage" and just explained that we will submit the marriage certificate as soon as we receive it.
yung lang request nila, the passport and the marriage certificate. i sent it to them na nung march 12 but it took mga 2 weeks before it reached manila because i sent it through registered mail. sobrang mahal if by courier for international mail.

wala pa din update sa akin. i check ecas almost everyday na nga, the waiting is killing me! by the way i ordered CAIPS notes for my file last week. have you heard about it? it's a summary of the notes made by the immigration officer handling your file. then makikita mo dun what they think about your case and what's the status of your application na. ask your wife to request it for you, $5 lang naman ang fee.
