Posted by crEm on 31 Mar 2008Our application was returned because NA was not filled in for one question. I am not sure what you can do about it now except to wait if they do send it back and just re-submit your application.
Posted by instinct on 31 Mar 2008Guys, just an update. I got my FBI verification in 2 weeks time. Make sure you have a deadline on the application and on the form. I put a deadline of April 20 and got it in less than 2 weeks by April 1.

Posted by instinct on 18 May 2008Ok Guys, my application was returned because of the missing NA fields. Looks like the bank people did not inform me correctly about the check being cashed since the check has been returned along with the application. I will be handiing over the application back on Tuesday (Connsulate is closed on Monday due to Canadian holiday). There is also a letter send along with the application which mentions the following:
"Canada's Minister of Citizenship and Immigration may, withing the next several months be providing instructions of Visa Offices as to which applications are to be accepted for processing and which are to be returned unprocessed. It is expected that these instructions will apply primarily to certain Skilled Worker applications officially received on or after 27th Feb 2008.
If and as soon as we receive Minister's instructions, we will apply them to out inventory of applications, starting with those officially received on 27th Feb 2008 and processing in chronological order"
Looks like they are waiting for the instructions from the ministry and will not process any applications received on or after 27th Feb.

Posted by muzmil on 27 May 2008Hi, I filed my case yesterday, i also forget to mention 'N/A' in one box that asks to mention any "Other Name you had in past" , rest of the fields i mentioned N/A every where clearly. Are there strong chances that my application will be returned back ? just because of one box not with N/A ?
