Hi Nosh,
Where u a US PR resident before you applied? Do you think it helps in ones approval for Canada PPR? I'm asking 'cause I'm thinking of applying from US. Thanks Please reply.

Jerry2121 I'm in USA on a H1B visa. I don't think having PR here would help the case since it's based on a number of factors - points, medicals, adaptability ... but going forward the priority will be given to those applicants who not only meet the points but are needed in Canada. I would go ahead and submit the application.

Thanks Nosh! I appreciate your suggestion. I will do that as soon as I gather all my docs. for submission. Good luck!

congrats Nosh.

I have one question: Is the visa dated from the date of the medicals or the date the visa stamped? Your visa expires on Aug 09 or April 09 Thanks.
