hey-
Are you currently in Canada - I have AOR date similar to your [1st Aug 07] - but have not received IA yet - so just wanted to know.
Also what does the status online say for you - still In Process or IA completed. Please let me know.

Thanks
T

Thanks a ton aol*...
My medicals reached on Feb 5th, 2008.
Though they never acknowledged it.....and I never pinged them.
2 days back, my ECAS changed to "Medicals have been received" and today I got the good news.

Ur timeline seems pretty similar to mine......Ur approval should be around the corner. Hang on !! :)

Hello aolsanjgd-
Any news from Buffalo or update in e-Cas... No update for me - so thought checking with you...
Posted by WestCoast on 22 Apr 2008
I also just wrote to them - lets see what they come back with. Im kinda expecting the same "In Process" answer :)
Posted by WestCoast on 22 Apr 2008
I guess it is better than "written to other offices" reply... Im hoping to get a reply tomorrow - will keep you posted.
BTW - Are you in Canada & where ?
Posted by WestCoast on 23 Apr 2008

Posted by WestCoast on 11 Jun 2008
Sorry buddy - cant remember how many I sent along w/initial appliation - guess it was 2.
Posted by WestCoast on 12 Jun 2008
Sorry to hear that your case is still pending... Did you try to contact them after or applied CAIPS?. BTW - how many countries you visited before [just wondering whether background check delays yours]
Posted by WestCoast on 12 Jun 2008
They may be doing some extra checks bcoz of that. In cic website this is one of the reasons stated for delays - impending divorce.
Posted by WestCoast on 17 Jun 2008
Congrats!!!! Finally the wait over....All the Best for landing...

BTW - I landed on 16th June.
Posted by WestCoast on 18 Jun 2008
Well - From India you cannot send passport via mail/courier. The only way is to travel to US/Canada OR send you passport via somebody travelling here. Buffalo will send passports back only to US/Canadian adresses so you have to provide an adress here.

All The Best!!
