Hi pete,
i got my initial review letter dated 5th feb 2008 asking me to update police clearance certificate, update funds proof and some applications within 90 days .......so i think the medicals are still a couple of months away., but will definately let u know the progress

"does it mean that a immigration officer has seen the file when u get a letter stating that a initial review has been done, coz i received a letter on 5th feb 2008 asking for updated funds and proof of liquid funds and not the land in india which i showed initially when i applied in aug2005. Does it mean they have done the scoring on the file and if we order a CAIPS we will be able to know the points awarded."

Hi vrishinkm

It sounds as if they require that your assets are now liquid as opposed to being in the form of land? As regards CAIPS I'd imagine that there may be some indication of your score but I've never ordered ours, so not really sure.

You might want to try http://britishexpats.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=56 (British Expats Forum) if you aren't already a member. I'm sure someone on there would be able to help you

Cheers

- All in one shot. WP -> T1, without any approvals.
