and it will take atleast 5-14 weeks..

Even my Application is close to u r dates. i applied 26th March and got reference no on 5 April 2580**.
I called HO recently and got to know that still not assigned to case worker. They are considering the applications of 25 Feb it seems

my ref # is fairly close to you. it's 2580**. I'm still waiting for the approval. I wrote email to HO few weeks back. they replied that i have to wait for at least 14 weeks. no other update till date. they are not entertaining our phone calls.

I heard dat it take only 2 days of time for a case worker to make a dicison...so our cases might not been assigned as i still see ppl pf 256*** series are waitign for approval....Neways we wud hope best to get it soon.
I had requested for courier pick up already... Hopefully things moves fast and we get approval :)

Having checked our records, your case is still under consideration. I am unable to advise how long the case will take to complete, each case is assessed on it’s own merits."
So, even I do not know the status. Let me know if any one has more updated info. I got this mail yesterday.

Hence, I should be applying for Visa after 3months. In the mean while, I would like to know if I can get a job first and then apply for EC. I shopuld get info on this. If you have any, do lemme know.

But what he says now, unlike then, that we need to get the Visa before we get a job. I actually feel, it is much secure to get a job before EC. But take my word, even I felt the same tension and worry that you are facing now. He will be just a coordinator not giving or cannot give more info than the site. So, no issues. R u maintaining the reqd. funds?

I did one wonder while sending my application. I wrote cover letter with own hand writing . It was not taken as a print out. This one big worry factor for me because for some silly things, they can reject.
Some people has denied for some small mistakes. I was in hurry at lasy moment and wrote cover letter on a paper..
okay leave it. I should not go negative at this moment.
Anyway your message has boost up my confidance lavel. as u said it was the same condition for u as well.

Hsejar is right. It depends on the complexity of the case under consideration. Both of us are in the same boat and frustration is at its height but we have no other option but to wait and share our info.

The consultant said he would talke care of the documents and all and he said he would let me know of the docs 20 days prior filing the Visa application. So, I am not sure of the docs. I personally feel, if you go through my consultant, it would be great I guess. Coz, he is very much guiding and you feel comfortable and confident under his guidance. This is what me and my husband felt. Lemme know if you need his number and address. I can help you out with that.
