Hi,
Did you call the HO? Even i applied on the same day.. Dont know why its taking so much time :(
 Posted by hsmp816 on 18 Apr 2008
Yes, I tried calling HO, but I am not able to reach any case worker yet, I waited in queue more than an hour, and couldn't wait much long and dropped off from the call. Guess everyone in HO are busy with more number of cases.

Could someon please say, how many days further I have to wait to know the decision. I tried calling HO couple of times, but no one are lifting. Can someone suggest whether I cam email HO on the decision on my case, if so to which id?

Today I called HO and luckily I got response this time. HO told that currently all applications received till 25 Feb 2008 are being taken case by case and working on the decisions by the case workers. So asked me to wait for some more to get the decision.

Called HO again, still they are saying that they can't reveal the Progress on my case. The reference numbers who has applied after me (series of 252***) are getting approved. Not sure when I will be blessed with the decision from HO.

I called HO and they said that decision has been taken on my application and package is ready for dispatch. They said that they have sent an email to my Representative for the Courrier pickup. My Rep claims that they didnt get any email from HO. I too did not get any email from HO. I have given fax and an email to HO to send an email on decision and arrange for courrier pickup. Now I am not sure how to proceed further. In the call they denied to say the case worker details or whats the decision taken. They said that they won't be having these details as already package is packed and ready for dispatch. Any idea how to handle this kind of situation?

Hi kvndk,

congrats for getting the approval. COuld you pls tell me how u managed to get the caseworker details ? Also did u send fax for courier pickup before the decision was reached?

I have given frequent emails to HO and also given a fax to HO thrice about my courrier pickup.
Now for EC I nned to show required funds for about 3 months. Also just came to know that funds should be in savings account in the name of me and no joint account is allowed. So I have to gather the same from my fixed assets to my savings account. It would be good if anyone please let us know whether funds for 3 months without a whole and sole account (no Joint) is mandatory even one has a good job offer in hand before appearing for EC

Hi ashu,

Long back I have already forwarded my CV to the ID you have mentioned, but I didn't get any reply. Actually I mentioned in my resume that I will be going EC some time in September, could that be the reason why you might not have responded to my email.

I have to wait to show required liquid funds in my savings account until mid of september. I could travel to UK in early october once my EC gets cleared, hopefully.

Should I have to send my CV again to this ID?

Regards,
Krishna
