Even my application reached Home Office ( HO) on 31-Mar-08 and the overall status is as follows :
Application received by HO : 31-Mar - 08
Fees got deducted : 04-Apr - 08
Reference No. received : 19-Apr - 08 (via email).
Current Status : No Clue , Awaiting result :-(
Please try to keep me posted on your updates as we are in same lines ....Wishing you Good Luck !

After a good experience , i want to suggest you with the below.
1) i used to call home office every week after listening the voice message saying the dates i used to cut the phone, but guys believe me we have to wait for a long time , hold on and then speak to the executive in a polite manner tell him from where you are calling and do tell him/her with the no. of weeks after 14 weeks count.
2)dont rely on the dates told in the voice message.
3)we have sent our valuable doucments and money so do make a call every week.
4) Frankly speaking please dont take otherswise " Asians usually have less patience", but please hold on and think in a cool way , the average of resposibility we have towards our application is the same with the people processing our documents.
I can wish you all with your positive response and all the best.

Congrats !!! , had one question , I called up Homw office on 13th Aug. and the advisor said that the documents have been sent by Airmail, but woudl not tell me the decision made, I requested him but he didnt say nything. Can you please tell me how you got to know of the results prior to receiving your papers.

Response after a long ring , he told me his name is Ross , i gretted him saying ' hi ross how are you'.Then i said i am so and so and my reference no is ***** calling from india, so coud you please let me know the status , its already 26 weeks by now, he said we have made a decision last friday and documents are send by air mail , then i asked the status , he replied saying its ' Application Approved'.

My name.....Degree Name..... Completion Date....Duration..... and so on and the last line was
He bears a good moral character.
The medium of instruction is English.
It was on the original university headed paper with sealed and signed by the student affairs department.
Was it enough? I'll be waiting for your good reply and just one more thing can you tell me your University Name?

That's your convocation certificate saying you completed your bachelors.
We need to submit a saperate certificate who's subject it self says " Medium of Language for Bachelors".
I have submitted my convocation + a certificate (Saperate) stating the medium used in bachelors.
So read the instructions clearly , its clearly given in the website.
So ask your university for this certificate saying i am applying for a UK Visa or saying I got selected in a comapmy which belongs UK and they need a saperate certificate for the above mentioned.
