I know how you feel - and it has only been a short while for me..
I think everyone I know is tired of me talking about it - I even have a man in London waiting on my return, a job hoping I can come back, a room to get back into and all my shit which I never sent home thinking I would come home deal with the Visa and come back - idiot!

Now I will be here in Sydney (love freinds and family - but my life at the moment is in the UK) for the winter - just awful timing...wish I diod it a little later in the year and enjoyed a bit more of London Summer... ohh well hopefully once this is all approved and EC done I will be enjoying the upcoming summers ... just not this one!

how is the waiting going? now after 30 june looks like I will be here until at least Nov, then may as well see my susters baby in (27 Nov) and then maybe xmas and then my b'day (NYE - my 30th!).... everyone is hoping I just now stay in Sydney...while I wish I was back in London.

Just watching how yours goes along as I am hoping they start chugging through them soon enough and I hear good news quickly after you do.

hi, this whole change with the EC thing has thrown me... i can't believe that because my funds have been below that 2800 in the past 3 months i wouldn't qualify for EC... even though I have just been in the UK for 2 years with a good paying job and a place to live... both of which are still there for me when i get back! it's all making me go a little crazy!! Same as you... everyone thinks i should stay... which is nice but I can't wait to get back... I can't believe what a mess this has become really... start thinking things that maybe this is a sign to not go back?! i don't know....
so how's sydney?! your plan to stay on into jan does not sound too bad... at least you get a lovely summer! friends in london say it's been pretty lame so far... or maybe there just trying to make me feel better!!

I know I agree...I am now waiting as a result of the 2800 thing. I woulod have transferred the money had In known...now I am here waiting. SO not trying to make you feel better - trying to make me feel better!!! you in syd? we can catch up for a drink and a drown are worries with alcohol evening?!

catch me on e.patton@bda.org - until end of July, or em_3112@hotmail.com...would love to share a drink with a person in the same circumstance...and then when we are in london we can celebrate...sure my man will joinus when i get back!!!!! if he is still there, and I ever get f'n back...

in the words of burger from sex and the city fuck you and fuck you - !!!

yes I feel your pain....both of you.
I am in the exact same spot....all my plans have gone down the hole.
I do however still have a valid visa until Jan, so I might go back. I am not sure how many days I am allowed to work under my visa.

I left everything in London, my job, my gf....now xgf thanks to me going back and my place....I thought it would take 2 months...nows it 4 months, plus the 3 months EC....FUKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

But daaaammmm I feel your pain. But I promise you, I am gotta have the biggest party ever when I get back.

Hi Guys,
I just had to vent too... you are all in the same boat as me!! Boyf in Eng, job and flat all waiting for me to come back.. ahhhhhh so over it!!!!! I only found this site yesterday now that I have turned slightly obsessed with the waiting times stuck in March.
To top it off, they are having a heat wave and I'm wearing slippers....
Good luck to all of you and slightly makes me feel better that I'm not the only in this god forsaken hsmp boat!
