I got a mail from home office today that my case has not been assigned to the case worker yet. If i dont get the decision within 12 weeks from now then I should give them a call.
I think I will wait till June end and would apply under PBS instead.
What do you think?
btw..when did you receive your reference number?

Posted by pkdavid on 04 Jun 2008Hey, Spoke to my Consultant. looks like i have the same issue.. another 12 weeks. This is turning out to be a joke. I was also told this is because. The home office is shifting offices and hence the delay.

It seems I shouldn't expect my approval letter before August end :(. Here is the mail I got from HO. It seems the mail has been sent for the ref number series 258***. (applied on march 28th.) Here is the mail from HO.

application.
Your application is currently waiting to be assigned a case worker, this

Last 12 months bank statements(Indian Bank as I claimed points for my Indian Salary)
Last 3 months bank statements(UK bank as proof of maintenance funds available)
Marriage Certificate(as I had sent my wife's application for a dependent visa).

Posted by klmacko on 01 Aug 2008Sal99... I noticed you have the same receive date as I do, and I was contacted yesterday that my application is done. Hopefully yours will be too soon. I do not know the outcome as they will not tell me anything until the courier picks it up.

For me the courier service had delivered the application to HO on 28th March. But the mail which I got from HO with reference number mentioned application received date as 4th of April.
I am confused. Could you tell what dates were there in your case.

yes its greater than your ref id.. yours must be assigned to the case worker.
Call them up.. chose option 2 followed by 2 (general hsmp questions) at around 5 pm IST.
they should be able to give you the status.
