in one of your posts you mentioned that the passport will be stamped after approval. I made an application on 28th Jun and received a letter from HO on 2nd Jul. I am switching from Work permit to Tier 1. Forgive my ignorance but are you saying that if one's case is approved, then they automatically get their visa stamped on the passports????

I was under the impression that after i get an approval i'll then have to submit all the documents again for a stamp on my passport. So its £750 for an approval and the visa...gosh i din't know that at all :O. hope you get your passport with a stamp on it soon and me too :)

Hopefully next week we should have gotten a feedback. some guy whose application was received on the 20th had gotten his visa stamped. the next batch is the 23rd june. let us see how this week ends. Hopefully within 1 to 2wks we should definately have received our document stamped. Amen.

Posted by darksun on 23 Aug 2008Well, it's completely random I think. People who applied around 14th June got their visas this week (around 20th August). I applied on 20th of June and didnt receive anything yet... Good luck to all of us...

I just try to carry on with my normal life now and not to think about calling HO and rest of this mind blowing stuff. IT has approached our turn now, and beleive me BGmdude, we would get the 3years visa like everyone has been having it. It is not even a big deal anymore. Cheers.

Congrats, did you applied for Urgent Treatment? Because I can see none of those who applied on 27th June have recieved the same.
I have also applied during that time and today I called them for first time and they says it is yet to be assigned to some case worker :(
