what have you submitted, too many docs or less docs.
Posted by tazsingh on 31 Aug 2008
i have submitted my case through uk workpermits ltd.it is for wp to tier 1 i think i have submitted enough documents i mean all the necessary documents
Posted by Complicated on 31 Aug 2008
What is the agent saying about this.

Moreover if you are willing then let us know what documents you submitted, do you think there is some mismatch or more explanation you have provided on documents and they are still considering it or veryfying it.

(1) Bachelors Degree Certificate:
Earnings: 40 points plus 5 points for my earnings being UK based
(2) P60
(3) Pay slips:
(4) Bank Statements:
(a) These do not indicate my net salary being paid into my bank account and therefore were not sent as evidence of my earnings. However, the combination of my pay slips and P60 should suffice, as they corroborate each other .
English Language Requirements: 10 points
(5) Bachelors degree will suffice
Maintenance Requirements: 10 points
(6) bank statement
(a) with the closing balance of £2,559.22 should suffice
(7) Bank statement in my wife's name
(8) My son's Birth Certificate
Posted by Complicated on 31 Aug 2008
Thanks for that, as a 3rd person when I see the case first I don't know why your net salary will not be reflected in you bank statements. May be thats one of the reason for delay/verification. Anyway as you have provided Payslips and P60 which corroborate then case has to be approved.
All the best.

Posted by lujooo on 09 Sep 2008
Hi Tazsingh, what strategy you managed to let them tell you the decision will come soon? I asked them just response... no further information available.
Posted by tazsingh on 09 Sep 2008
there is no strategy it's my consultant who gave me this information...
Posted by nevadawipes on 10 Sep 2008
have u ever called HO CC Direct caus sometimes these consultants can be very doggy. wht category are u switching from?? why do u think case is taking soo long. i think u r the longest waiting on the forum....... r u sure that ur docs are stil with HO?? Regards
Posted by tazsingh on 11 Sep 2008
yes i have called them many times, i just get a reply that it is under consideration ,,i am switching from WP to tier 1, i really don't know why it taking so long? my consultant had been faxing them regurlary even though nothing is happin....
Posted by nevadawipes on 11 Sep 2008
ur agent is faxing them wht?? UT is it??
so if u have sent in UT, why they are not responding? its alomost 5months .
Posted by Yudhistira on 11 Sep 2008
This totally unacceptable. You should get your consultant to write a letter a formal letter and complain. If you do not trust your consultant, write it yourself and explain your situation. I am sure if you are reasonable, HO will at least inform you as to why they are holding on to your application. Remember you are without your passport ( I am asuming you sent your passort with the application) for 133 days, which is absolutely unacceptable.
Posted by tazsingh on 12 Sep 2008
yes, you r rite Yudhistira.... i will talk to my consultant today, i feel you have a point and a complaint must be made ,thankyou so much for giving me the support i need at this point
Posted by lujooo on 12 Sep 2008
I tried, and here is their reply:"We currently have no service standards for the Tier 1 scheme and I am therefore unable to give you any estimation with regards to a timeframe."

I think we need to contact someone high rank officer than those customer service staff, they are totally arrogant and xenophobic.
Posted by nevadawipes on 12 Sep 2008
when did u apply lujooo?? have u sent in UT?
Posted by lujooo on 12 Sep 2008
I received the reference number at 27th May. Not UT.
Posted by nevadawipes on 12 Sep 2008

Posted by lujooo on 12 Sep 2008

I just got acknowledge that they called my former employer. So I think it would be come to an conclusion soon.
Posted by nevadawipes on 13 Sep 2008
why do u think it took 3 months for them to just check with your employer?? when did they call them, was it recently? is that employer in UK or china?? sou r going to wait yeah.
Posted by nevadawipes on 13 Sep 2008
taz singh, did u check with ur employer, if they have called them. is it previous or current employer u provided the docs for?

Posted by nevadawipes on 15 Sep 2008
taz singh, do u have uk degree and uk employer or indian?? caus if its indian it could take long as they send info. to india thru agengy to get it checked , if its uk ......... then god knows whts up?
Posted by tazsingh on 15 Sep 2008
i have an Indian Degree but the employer is in Uk , Do you guess my Indian Degree is taking long to be checked with the agency?because they didn't contacted my employer so i think you r right the agency in India would have taken long....i have submitted my P60 aswell do you think they check with Inland revenue aswell ?
Posted by nevadawipes on 16 Sep 2008
well not sure about all that, as my guess is as god as yours? but the craziest part is that u have applied nearly 5 months ago and still they havent even checked with ur employer which is supposed to be the main bit in tier-1.just to claify, have u sent them ur passport as well with application or u r just waiting for approval letter?

called them today aswell they say still under consideration.... Have we got any choice apart from waiting ?.... i feel so helpless and depressed!!!! we just have to wait and bear with the injustice ... How sad it is to think that people applied long after you are been considered and we just have to wait, and they don't give any resons, they know they can getaway with that....

its like this, as per my observation so far........... people who applied under tier-1. if they get there passports max. in 3months are all good. but if u havent heard from them in 14weeks (3 months) then that means it can take up to anytime. i am not sure if its good or bad thing becuase we havent seen a result of a single case who have waited for more than 3 months and have got the docs back, since the introduction of Tier-1 from UK in April 08.

there are sooooo many people like ......planetm, ukindianmba , annela, munshi and so on. Munshi actually had a word with CW last month and was told that he will definately get his docs back before 10/10. so munshi will be actually the first person who applied under tier-1 and waited for 4months and then getting his docs back. his result will explain a lot about the situation. in the mean time, all we need to do is just wait and see whts happens.

Hope this helps
Posted by tazsingh on 06 Oct 2008
yeh! we r i their country ..under their rules!!!!!!! they can do what ever they want .....if we get it ..our luck ..if not then bad luck,,, so just wait................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... we have no rights:::::::because the game is in their hands .....all the thick brained CW will write r destiny and we have to bear with it ..... mano ya na mano! CHEERS MATE ALL THE BEST FOR ALL!
