Posted by aj20 on 19 Aug 2008It has been 9 weeks since my app is pending. I ad spoken to HO on 4th aug and they said its with the manager. the process i was told was that the case worker passes to the manager and manager to senior manager and then it goes for stamping. I had spoken to them on 18th aug and they said they have stopped giving statuses based on the reference number so they cant tell anything.
the problem is my wife and daughter are travelling to india on 16th september and i dont know if i will receive the passports by then.

Posted by aj20 on 21 Aug 2008no passport received yet ...i have sent a urgent treatment letter on 20th aug. and had called today they said that there are lot of urgent treatment requests coming these days. they hvnt looked at it yet. and since my case is already with the cw urgent treatment wont help much bcoz it helps only in allocation to the cw and then it goes into a black hole i think.
really worried now when its gonna come back.

Posted by milind on 21 Aug 2008dont worry aj20 it will be there very soon .. all the best mate I called 2 days ago they said my case is very close to completion and when i called yesterday the other guy siad it is no where near completion... dont understant whom to believe its very stressful .. all the best mate u will hear something in a day or 2
Posted by aj20 on 23 Aug 2008yes milind it is very confusing. i dont understand how is it processed for some people so quickly. i hv friends working with me in the same company and most of them have got their visa's stamped. i havent got any query from HO also so not sure what case worker is doing with it for last 3+ weeks.

Even I applied for Urgent process and my co wants to join before 1st SEpt. But there are no updates from HO yet. Do we need to do something to speed up the process?
Can you share your phone no. Wll call you. Its stressful waiting for Approva now. I already have an offer in HAND>

yes they have acknowledged the receipt of my urgent treatment application.
Urgent Treatment application sent: 20 AUG
Passport and papers received: 27 AUG
Stamping Date: 28 July (decison was aproved on this day)
Valid Until: 28 July 2011
I had sent the special delivery envelope in which they hv sent the stamped passport and papers back.
what a relief it is..
