Hi, This is rchiu. I need one urgent help regarding HSMP documents. I applied for HSMP on the same date you did.
My query is regarding the proof for Income. I have submitted the following docs.
1. 12 Months payslips
2. Bank statement for the above claimed period.
3. Xerox copy of Form-16 for the period April - 2006 to March-2007. As you know in India we submit our Original Form-16 to Governmet, I sent only the xerox copy. Will this become a problem? I'm worried a lot about it now.
4.Company offer letter, incremental letters with latest pay structure given by the employer.
5.Original Driving license for Ager proof.
6. Original Degree certificate

Pls. suggest me on 3rd point. My e-mail id is hcchiru@gmail.com

Looking for the reply.

Thanks.

I have given the medium of instruction certificate also.
Posted by vanitha on 30 Dec 2007
Rchiu,
It shouldnt be a problem provided that you have submitted the Pay Slips and Bank statements (originals)..

Thanks
Vanitha

Dear Vanitha,

How you recived your reference number.Through post or that phone call from home office or you called to home office for reference number.
Posted by vanitha on 09 Jan 2008
I called HO(00441142074074) to get the reference number. I called them on 9th Jan, they told, it is approved and the document is sent. I have send a mail saying that I will arrange for the courier, so requested them about the details. Still now I did not receive any mail from them.

Hi Vanitha,

Did you send a fax mentioning about the courier pickup?
Posted by vanitha on 10 Jan 2008
no... i have send a mail. when i called the HO they told that the documets are dispatched. i was planning to get the documents through MBE(http://www.mbe.co.uk/centre_forms/Home_office_application.aspx).
Posted by dontcare on 10 Jan 2008
I think you should have send a fax and called them to confirm that the pickup arrangement is register with the HO. Fax is official method they have mentioned. Anyway congrats on the approval. Hope your docs arrive safely without much of a delay

Hi clintonmdu ,

You need to hold on for a couple of minutes until a contact person answer the call. They are playing a recorded messages if the all ppl are busy. Yesterday it took about 3 mins for me

Hi Vanitha and others,

I am in the process of applying for my HSMP(initial approval).
The documents I plan to give for verification and claiming points are
1. For age assesment: Original birth certificate
2. For education: Original BE degree and NARIC letter of comparion (which states its equal to UK Bachelors(Hons))
3.For past earnings: 12 months sal slips (signed and stamped) on company letterhead + Bank statement+tax returns(doesnt cover the full 12 months though)
4. For english language capability: IELTS test report(band>6)

So the total points claimed will be 85 (10(age)+30(qualification)+45(past earnings)
I have couple of questions:
1.Do I need to submit my original offer letter as well and salary revision letters as well? Given a choice I would prefer not to submit them.
2. Do I need to go through an agent? I prefer not to. But does it make any difference if I go through an agent?
3. Is there anything else which you feel I need to submit?

Thanks,
Sri80

did u get ur papers??
mine was posted on 3rd by airmail.,waiting for tht.,plse give info abt ur case.
Posted by vanitha on 13 Jan 2008
Hi,

No it's not necessary to submit offer letter and salary revision letters. I submitted the same documents, I think it's enough. It is not necessary to submit through agent, we have all the documets, so submitting through agent does not make any difference.

All the Best.

Vanitha

Hi Tanu,

The regular postman dispatched my papers. don't worry.... your papers will be safe. Call up your area post office and ask them if they have any post for you from UK. you can find the post office numbers here http://yellowpages.webindia123.com/dpy/Karnataka/Bangalore/Post+Offices/1
