Hi,
Need a piece of information.
I have applied for HSMP claiming 90 points.
For the sake of my satisfaction I wanted to know from you people that, is it mandatory to send the current working company offer letter along with the HSMP application.
I have sent all other relevant original documents as below:
1. Original Btech Degree Certificate
2. Original Driving License
3. Original Letter from the institution stating the Btech was completed in ENGLISH
4. Last 12-Months "Attested" payslips of the company

Since there was no mention anywhere about sending the current working company offer letter, I didnt send that. So based on the documents I have sent, can I expect that my application will be APPROVED?
Please reply
Thanks
- Vikas DK

you do not need to send any offer, it is also not stated in the guidance. so you can feel OK and expect that your application will be approved.

Vikas, Did you send your birth certificate as well, as I was told by a consultant that they do not consider Indian Driving License as a proof of Age? Though I do not see any written confirmation on the same on the HomeOffice website. Where is your license from?

If thye do accept that I am sure the case will be approved!

All the best!

hi haphazard, thanks for your quick and convincing reply.
kunals, my license is from KARNATAKA Govt and most of my indian (karnataka) friends have got their approval by sending original driving license, so i guess, that should be fine.
may be the reason u r saying is because some of the indian states driving licenses doesnot have a date of birth on it and that pose a potential reason for application to be rejected.
so i am quite sure that i wont get rejected based on my driving license.

Thats correct Vikas, and that is an issue in Maharahtra, in some cases the DOB is not mentioned on the license.

All the best for your application

me and my friend had applied for hsmp at the same time and now after 29 days, my friend has got a mail from hsmp team asking him to send his residential address, the reason being they are not permitted to forward any documents to work addresses.
but i have also given my office address for communication and inspite of the fact that my reference number is 200 lesser than my friend's, i havent got any mail as such asking my residential address.
i wanted to ask you people, will there be any problem giving my office address for communication.
i guess people in past had given their work address for communication.
please clarify.

vikaskulkarni,

I gave my office address and phone number. That's the best way to reach since you are at job most of the time. But there's a 5-and-half-hour difference between the U.K. and India I dont know if this makes a problem.
