Posted by mycanal on 04 Jun 2008i wrote them my name,address, ref number,dob and said that i applied on 10 Jan 2008,now it is almost 5 months, and this delay is unacceptable and that although bia website says 95% cases are decided within 14 weeks but they don't and also that whenever i call, instead of telling us the progress, they just keep saying that it is with caseworker and further they say that some ppl are waiting over 1-2 years. it is quite frustrating and also i came to know that many ppl are complaining of damaged documents and lost documents in post. which is quite scarry. i wish to know ,exactly what is the status of my application, how long it can take more, and how are you doing the verification and through which agency..as caseworker sometime say that delay is from the verification side and not from H.O side. so i wish to contact them and complain them as well and also to find out , how is taking extra lime and ignoring my application.
this is the website, i think everyone , who is waiting over 20 week should complain by email,fax and by post.
and also contact your local M.P. some ppl have complained to mp and home office previously , and said , it is not a solid solution but it is our right and obligation to complain about a genuine delay that we are going through. and we all know how hard it is to wait for months and even worst if it is in years.. hsmp caseworker told me that there is not maximum time , a case can take and they treat each application individually.
so plz dont wait for my outcome and better to complain so ur head count as well..anyway, the rest is upto you.. some ppl are withdrawing form hsmp and re-applying in tier1 as well.

i know u r really worried..i am facing same thing..i applied nov 07...after 197 days,they called my employer about my previous earnings..but still m waiting..but i have no complain.bcoz i have a trust that they will give +ve result.

Posted by mycanal on 14 Jul 2008yes, i did sent in fax, and also involeved my mp and a lord, and when they wrote to home office on my behalf , only then home office, wrote me letter confirming that my doucments are gone to pk for verification and that they have requested to expedite the verification.
but fromt he tone of home office, it seems ,they dont like ppl who use mp and etc to pursue their case. home office prefer that ppl cal the public phone and just cool down or feeze down till home office decide...
now atleast, my my , uk lord, and hsmp team manager are in direct contact with me and after few months, i will follow up. there is no way i am gona wait for years like some other have been wating 2-3 years. we have paid for service, it should be within a year i think.mrworried gave very good suggestions.............. it does make difference....

Posted by fahim79 on 27 Jul 2008that is really very very sad news mycanal i have been watching you case... quit a long time.. you should apply for review... but i would suggest if you can offerd try appling Teir 1 ... they would consider ur documents as genion if they can't verify them... but how come they give you 0 points... wat about qualification and age points

i am so sorry to hear the news. tell me did you show salary from pakistan? tell me please exactly what document they could not verify either your tax document or they couldnt reach the employer. did they give you right to appeal. May Almighty help but dont be hopeless.

i am on study visa since jan 2004, thus showed pk income.

so they assigned 0 to each and all sections.
hsmp uk were telling me from last many months that they sent for verifications to their colleagues in pk but no reply from them. and now i think they still couldnot get any reply from them thus they assigned me zero for every possible section.

i had a typical consultant, who was 100% sure about success and claimed that never ever his case got denied but minutes after received his payment in full and non-refundable ,start saying, we do our best and the rest is upto allah,
i am trying to contact him now. but he seems too busy now.. and now wish to earn money for appeal/review.
anyway, any consultant cannot do anything once home office, play the delaying tactic saying they are verifiying for months or years.
the max one can do is complain or get his mp involve, and in such case home office refuse saying ,unable to verify thus given points are zero. so is my typical case.
i am just not sure, what is the way forward...do i need to sent in all orignal documents for review, as i am getting admission in uni this oct and i need to show them all orignal education documents as well. and i got only 24 days left to apply for review.
should i write a letter about anything.. can i apply for revew without original education certificate. i dont know if the review will take agan so many months in waiting ...if anyone can guie me plz do ..is appeal and review same things or different...

Well Mycanal, you dont have to send your original docs for review. Review process is very simple, Your consultant must help u in this regard. In review you will send only Review Form with a Covering Letter, you can email,post or fax them. They got copies of ur HSMP File.
I am also waiting for review result.

Posted by fahim79 on 17 Aug 2008how did you got the feed back from ur caseworker...!! firstly you should ask them to return ur documents you can tell them there should be a kind of misunderstanding from your employer... if you can get a written evidance you should get it from your employer relating your salary... if you have made no false declaration... you should take this matter with any manager in the HSMP team... have you talked with your consultant about this matter??

I HAVE GIVEN UP ON HSMP FOR NOW.. AND GOING TO STUDY FOR MASTERS DEGREE IN UK UNIV FOR MASTER IN LOGISTIC AND SUPPLY CHAIN FOR ONE YEAR AND AFTER THAT WOULD BE ELIGIBLE FOR 2 YEAR PSW. AND IN THE MEAN TIME WOULD TRY FOR UK WORK PERMIT IF I GOT A GOOD PROFESSIONAL JOB. SO IN THIS WAY. I WOULD NOT NEED PK INCOME PROOFS ETC.
ONCE I GOT A UK JOB/INCOME THEN I MIGHT APPLY FOR NEW HSMP(TIER1).
