i usually ring up that information line of ukba and dial option 5...that will tell you the current processing date of FLR applications...today evening it got updated from applications received till 5th september to 15th september...so ours should be this weekend or early next week...by the way if we make some silly mistake in FLR form(like not ticking a box or something like that),would the caseworker reject the application and keep 750 pounds OR will he ask us to resend that page by properly filling it up..just a silly doubt...

I also called UKBA today. The CCA told me that my case is under consideration. Normally CCA would contact you if he thinks he requires further evidences that might help your case but that's very rare. But if in case you have not filled the form properly, then they will not call you for the correction, I reckon application can be rejected. But till date I have not seen any FLR straight forward case which is rejected. Why are you worried, if I can ask you?

hello rob,
iam worried as if at all i have not ticked some stupid box and they might say no.i have cross checked the application twice but thats just a query.by the way, which option do u select when u contact ukba.i tried contacting them but phone just rings and noone picks up.how long one would have to wait?

Thanks

Hi Suman, Don't worry you will be alright. I chose General-> FLR-> JR if I rem it correctly. I can see that you applied in 2nd week of Sept, isn't it..As per what I have seen in forums, it is taking around 4 weeks in average for JR cases. If you are lucky, then may be in < 4 weeks else in > 4 weeks.....So its all waiting game now..
