Posted by LuckySwathi on 04 Apr 2008No I (LuckySwathi) haven't received the card yet. I followed up thru toll free number and they created a "Service Request" and asked us to wait for 45 more days..it's disgusting...just waiting.

Posted by kumar0308 on 21 Apr 2008No. I called them after 30 days. They told me that card was mailed by them. It might have lost on the mail. So, they asked me to apply again for a replacement card.

Posted by kumar0308 on 22 Apr 2008I haven't applied for it until now. Giving it some more time hoping that the original card might get returned to them or it will show up in my mail box.
If we need to apply again, we need to pay the entire $340 fees again. And, it will go through the process again as if it is a new card. It will take another 90 days for them to process the application and send the card. In any case, it is better than endless wait.

Posted by kumar0308 on 13 May 2008I waited until today (05/13/2008) hoping that the EAD card might get returned to them. But, no luck. I just applied for it again today by paying the full fees. Hopefully, I should get it in another 3 months.

Posted by kumar0308 on 28 May 2008I got the old card back as a result of the service request. Nothing else apart from opening the service request.
Actually, I got two mails from USCIS - One with the actual EAD card and another one containing the response to the service request (stating that card is being mailed again).
