Hi! I'm a provincial nominee candidate of BC as well. I'm still waiting for my initial assessment and I can't help but ask for your details if it is in a any way similar to mine...I am in the Philippines. I got a job offer in Canada. This is what we used for my PNP application. I am hoping to get my Nominee Certificate sometime soon so I can apply for a work permit and start working in Canada. While waiting, I'm trying to reach out to other nominees to get a feel of how my application is going...With that, I have these questions...(1) were you already working in Canada when you submitted your application? your processing was quite fast as I noted in your timeline; (2) if you were back in your country when you applied, did you go to Canada right after you got your nomination and started working?; (3) where did you have your medicals done?; (4) did you get a paid representative to assist you in your PNP application? Thanks in advance for the bother...and congratulations by the way! I hope everything's going well for you in Canada now.

hi there air3973,
it seems to me that we have different case as i have no job offer when i applied for PNP in Manitoba. regarding your questions, i will try to answer them one by one.

...(1) were you already working in Canada when you submitted your application? your processing was quite fast as I noted in your timeline; A: Nope, i am still working on the Philippines when i applied.

(2) if you were back in your country when you applied, did you go to Canada right after you got your nomination and started working?; A: When my nomination was approved, i still submitted the papers to the Canadian embassy in the Philippines.

(3) where did you have your medicals done?; In the Phils.

(4) did you get a paid representative to assist you in your PNP application? Thanks in advance for the bother...and congratulations by the way! I hope everything's going well for you in Canada now. Nope, i did not get a paid rep to do mine.

if you still have some questions in mind, i'll be happy to help you. just send me an email on my gmail. username is corics. see you!

hi corics...thanks for the immediate response. i guess i just need to patiently wait for them to send me the next letter. it hasn't been that long anyways. i have a friend who applied in the Manitoba PNP too just recently. maybe he can take some tips from you, if you don't mind...
