Posted by Carmen on 27 Dec 2007I also received my medicals and RCMP request but when I enquired with them they told me they haven't done Initial assessment yet. I have read here that people get IA with the medicals, but since you haven't received IA as well so probably different IO's have different ways to process the application.

The Canadian embassy in Egypt did not process my application. I was in Canada on a work permit then got my PNP and applied in Buffalo.

No. But within few hours after landing the status changed into PR.

Posted by lowrider on 25 Mar 2008Thanks. I got my passport request on March 25th as predicted. I guess my last question is, at what point did you pay the Right to Permanent Resident fee? The passport request says nothing about it and the website says it has to be paid before the application is complete. I will go ahead an include it with my passport. Can you please let me know what you did? thanks.

Posted by engineer on 26 Mar 2008Hi lowrider, I sent my RPRF on January to Buffalo. I think you need to include it with your passports as you can pay it anytime during the process and it seems now is the right time for you.
Posted by lowrider on 26 Mar 2008Hey jackson. mine was exactly on Feb 13th also. You should get your passport request soon. The request letter was printed on March 17th and I got it in the mail yesterday, on the 25th. I will create a timeline of my application tonight. engineer's has been really helpful, being that im on Alberta PNP to buffalo, and other similarities.
Well I just mailed in my passport with my fee in it. Should get there by Fri or Monday. Thanks.

B) How many days after submitting landing fees were u requested to submitt your passport, how much timeframe was provided by CIC to submiit your passport to stamp for PR.
