Provincial Nominees: Discuss Individual Case
hi there , it seems like you have received your AOR after 2 months , was there any reason it took them that long to responde. reason why i am asking that is i have sent mine 2 months ago , untill today i didnt receive anything yet. i am kind of worried.
Hi superchef08: How long did it take in your case to get the nomination (approval) from Halifax? I am now waiting for the provincial nomination from Halifax. Thanks.
hi nsnpci i handed in my application at the halifax office, and then i recieved an email 5 weeks after for additional information i took it straight to the office in halifax and got my nomination the next week in a total of about 6 to 7 weeks hope this helps.
Thanks Superchef08 for your info. It was so fast! I wish the same in mine as well.
How were you able to transfer to New York? Are you British and if so i thought that it had to be done in London???
We are British but doing the NS PNP from NS. Took the jump and hoping it all goes well. Have finally given them all they need so we wait. Thks Dean Thought I would add my comment. My case is in New York too. Applicants who live in Canada or US legally can apply for Canadian Permanent Residency at the Buffalo Visa Post. Then most PR applications are transfered to local Visa Posts in the US, close to the place you live. For the applicants from Nova Scotia files will be assessed in NY. One has to live legally in Canada or US for a year to be eligible to apply at Buffalo Visa Post.
You should receive PPR within a month or so...
Please keep us updated! Good for you!
