How were you able to transfer to New York? Are you British and if so i thought that it had to be done in London???

We are British but doing the NS PNP from NS. Took the jump and hoping it all goes well. Have finally given them all they need so we wait.

Thks

Dean

Thought I would add my comment. My case is in New York too. Applicants who live in Canada or US legally can apply for Canadian Permanent Residency at the Buffalo Visa Post. Then most PR applications are transfered to local Visa Posts in the US, close to the place you live. For the applicants from Nova Scotia files will be assessed in NY. One has to live legally in Canada or US for a year to be eligible to apply at Buffalo Visa Post.
