Can you help me im looking at appyling for Quebec skilled worker with my partner as we want to move to montreal but our french is nearly non existant, but we do want to learn, just want to know what your french level was like and if you have to be fluent to apply for this. Thanks for any help.

Hi! My french was fluent, I had been to French school and completed a degree in France which is why my application proceeded so quickly, I did not need an interview. The level of French required is pretty minimal, I know people get CSQs off conversational French provided they are actively improving and can convince the officer taht they will be able to find work in Quebec. Good luck, Montreal is one of the greatest cities in the world for quality of life and Canada as a whole outstrips pretty much everywhere I lived in Europe. Any questions lemme know markandrewglynn@hotmail.com. Cheers
