hey guys just be patient .I know you gonna say patient is a big word . I m tired also of the situation but we don't have too much option . they got us in their hand . the idea of sending flowers like those people did before us. is not a good idea . plus I dont want them to send my flowers to the hospitals like gonzalez did before. we have to think of another option to deal with them .

Visa Bulletin Mess Update: Rumors and Innuendo
HLG has confirmed that the CIS is not returning I-485 Applications back to those who filed I-485 during the first week of July. This is leading many to speculate that the CIS may reverse course and re-re-amend the July Visa Bulletin; whether the Visa Bulletin actually reopens remains to be seen. HLG normally refrains from commenting on rumors, but we have talked to several Washington insiders and believe that this is seriously being considered.
What does this mean for foreign nationals who planned on filing I-485s in July 2007?
HLG recommends that all foreign nationals who planned on filing I-485s in June take two actions:
* Have your medical appointments completed. Medical appointments can back up quite quickly. Therefore we urge people to complete their medicals.
* Send in your documents to HLG. HLG's I-485 Step By Step Guide has a list of documents that we need for all I-485 filing. HLG will not begin preparing the I-485 at this time, but we still recommend that you send us all of the items on the list.

What does this mean for foreign nationals who planned on filing via Consular Processing?
We urge all foreign nationals to attend consular appointments. The Consulates are clearly issuing visa stamps to those with appointments.

Guys believe me. Keep calling, emailing, faxing these people. Eventually it pays off. I have been regularly doing my part, whether they respond or not. But I am glad it all worked out. So please keep up the efforts. Try sending flower bouquets and thank them first. Then politely request them to speeden the processing of your applications. It will work, but you need to be persistent. Don't listen to some idiots who always try to discourage you on this forums. You do your part and leave the rest.

congratulation new perm 2 .but let me tell you one thing if somebody should send a bouquet and thank the dol should be you because they approve your application . but us the one who still have the pending case and only god know how long will take .I don;t need to thank them for anything.there are not doing us any favor .they get paid to do their job . and you don't need to call the people who disagree with you in certain ideas idiots.thats impolite .we should respect each other opinion in this forum. thank you.

In fact couple of weeks ago they had completely stopped processing any applications. People were waiting for months together with no approvals. Because of our efforts, they started looking into applications and processing the same. So thank them for that.
There were few people on this forum, who discouraged everyone from sending any emails/fax or calling anyone to plead our case. They were kind of being pessimistic and asking us to let it be the way it is and wait until DOL started doing working on our applications as and when they chose to. I referred to those people as idiots.
By the way, it would be helpful if you could have followed/read this thread before commenting on my politeness. All I am trying to do is help you guys and you seem to not care about it.

new perm2 .my labor application was filed before yours ok .so I been in this forum before you did .and in the last two months I caled the doll 12 times .I faxed a letter.I try all my best to help make things change .so you have to thank me too for beeing a part of that .and in my message to you I was talking about the idea of sending a flower .okay .not calling and faxing .and you repeating again a word idiots in your message. so let me tell you that's you are impolite .and for a guy with a mba who spend all those year in school .I think its a big shame. one more thing don't bother answer me . now on I'll escape your comment because there are not important to me. thank you. |
Hi guys. I have a question. My Labor certification has just been certified today. I'd like to know what is the next step? I think I can file I140 and I485 at the same time ? but my lawyer told me I can file I140 soon but I have to wait most likely a year until I can file I485. is that right?

If your PD is current then you can file I-140/485 together. But I don't think visa # are available till October due to July 2 visa bulletin.

Let's not take things too personal here.Everyone in this forum, whether he/she agrees or not is defintely Thankful to the people who are sending flowers/Emails/Fax etc. Because these things will have impact on the ATL NSC, we all know that. It's only the 'frustration' of few people that they release on some poor guy in the forum.No body is an 'idiot' here and we just have to learn to 'disagree' better:)

I think now-a-days average time to approve EB3 case is 127 days

I believe it will improve in the next couple of weeks.Since that number includes few 'dry' months in ATL NSC processing.
Atleast I'm being optimistic:)

that's kind of weird . We saw some february appovals , march ,mai . but no april cases at all .I don't know what happen to april applications.they got lost or what? .even thougt there not respecting what they are talking about the fifo thing ( the first in the first out). I think we should restart our tragedie of calling and faxing.I m gonna ask my lawyer to send them a letter .or do something because it seems they don't like to answer our letter or our phone call.we got to have our rep in contact with them .

I don't undestand why those people are taking so long to process our applications .are our cases very complicated at this point . or they are the one who wana complicate our situation and make it worse. I looked few minutes ago at the chicago approval list .its crazy. IT REALLY FREAK ME OUT . approvals in 5 days .3 days .one week. and we are waiting for months together.why is this happening to us are we the unlikiest people in this forum .I m not gonna open chicago links any more .it just make me angry .and I don't need it.

It does not help venting on this forum, and it does not change a thing. If you really want to help ourselves, please join us and call/fax/email the senators and the people at Atlanta center, and DOL.

spd123, I'm sure there are many who haven't even heard of this site. So 2 on trackitt doesn't mean that's all that was certified.

Guys, don't give up, e-mail and fax them. I did both, and got a letter from DOL this weekend, with the data from my case, which i didn't provide them in my communication. THat means that someone digged out my case for DC DOL to respond... probably after that they certified. My lawyer e-mailed about the change in status on-line. DOn't have a paper one, but the on-line change is great for me....

My application date is also april Friday the 13th:( My lawyer sent an inquiry today. There were 3 May approvals in last 2 days but there are no April approvals at all. Since the worse slowdown started in april I am wondering if they had their software messed up hence there was all this delay and now they can not recover the april applications:( Or the person who was supposed to check the April applications is on maternity leave?? Maybe she had twins:)

I want all of us to support the fight Congresswoman Zoë Lofgren doing to put the I-485 dates current for july. As bec Jul is about to end and if at all DOS(Department of State) decides to put it back as current it would take couple of months, for all this comes into effective. So by that time we will be ready with our Labour Approvals. So support her to suport ourselves in putting I-485 status as current again.

if we have not get own perms certificated, I-485 is too far away to motivate us, especially me.

They will defenitely put I-485 back as current if every one of us participate in the fight. So that each of us could benefit from that.
We will get our labour approvals by then as because Atlanta Center started working, but dont stop our efforts of email/call/fax them to expedite the process.

if we can get the visa bulletin current, you can submit your i-140 and 485 concurrently once your PERM cased approved.
