I did requested Atl through my employer, they send that periticular email as they do to everybody, i think its not working

I sent email inquiry to Atlanta center, and they responded that only employers or the agent listed on the form can inquired.

I filed on April 11th. Sounds pretty absurd; FIFO does not make sense here in USCIS.

My application filed on March19th. I haven't heard back anything from DOL. My lawyer is always telling that the case status is pending and charging hefty everytime I ask her to check the status. Waste of money and time. I'm helpless now. I did send emails and phone calls to DOL and got the same old reply "we are working on". Mean time I'm done with my medical exams and got an appointment to see the doctor.

Hi guys. Finalyl my PERM is approved today. An hour ago I raised my worries about it in this thread. Surprisingly I got an email from my lawyer 10 minutes ago stating that my labor is approved. My application date was March 19th. Thank you all for your kind support. I hope everyone of us will get approved for labor soon.
I'm going to apply my I-140 soon. Is it a good idea to wait until August and apply premium processing?
Again. Thank you all. What ever we did to wake the DOL up worked out in my case. So please keep doing what we were doing.

Congrats! You can file 140 now and then later push it to Premium Processing in AUG or anytime!

hey guys .saran were talking about medical exam. how can we get our medical exam without getting approval from the dol yet .is it possile ? any body have any idea please share. good luck for all of us and hope every body hear his approval soon.

UPDATE : 7/16/07 2:55 PM EST.
The decision has been reached and the announcement is imminent.
The decision is not exactly what we hoped for (Permanent fix to the issue by allowing 485 filing with visa number availability), but it is PRETTY CLOSE TO THAT. We tried our level best to bring a permanent solution to the issue by getting changes that allow 485 filing without visa number availability.
We have learned that the minimum the relief will apply to whoever wishes to apply in July.
Whoever has their 485 ready, PLEASE FILE ASAP. If you have labor approved, then DONT WAIT ANOTHER SECOND, please file your 485 (or 140 and 485 concurrently if your 140 is not filed).
If you havent begun your preparation, start preparing now to file 485 asap.
As soon as we learn more details, we will let you know. Right now, the lawyers in the government are reviewing the draft of the final decision that will be announced shortly.

Are there any more Feb application left ( at least on Trackitt)?
Looks like ATL has been processing Mar since 2nd Jul (2 weeks now) and only scatterred from Apr & May (I guess those just sneeked in, luckily, well good for them of course). Once we start seeing more Apr (hopefully soon), we will know how long they take to finish 1 month worth of apps.
If they take 1 month to process 1 month worth of apps, they will always keep a 90 day lag-time (processing Mar in Jul). They have to speed up.....

Who ever crossed the processing time of 90 days, better ask your lawyer/employer to email/fax/Call them.

My labor was filed on 15th Feb ... asked my lawyer today ... it is still showing “under process”.

You ask your employer/lawyer to fax/email/call them about your case. You get lucky.

My lawyer did email them twice, no luck.

Please have your lawyer give them a holler or get the case number and details from your lawyer and call the atlanta office directly.
Please don't forget to add you case onto 'trackitt sytem'. It's the third link on the top row(from left) on the very same page.

We need to step up our efforts in expediting the process at 'Atlanta' office. If the rumours around eventually become true we don't want to miss out the oppurtunity.

About becoming I-485 status back to current, its not a rumor but its confirmed. All it needs is the time to update the visa Bulletin and to address the the unused Visa numbers that considerably decreases the waiting time of indians/Chinese/mexicans/Philippenes, on Employment Based Categories, for visa numbers availability. About expediting the process at Atlanta Center for Labor Certification, how about sending flowers to them on a perticular day for expediting the process?

I suggest we should do phone/email/fax compaign again. Yes. If we not push them harder, we have no hope for those realizing rumor.

Phones/E-mail/Fax are good way of conveying messages, but I'm worried that they may take time off of the 'actual work' to attend these calls/E-mails/Faxes, which in turn will have impact on our process. It's just my opinion though.

I will shy away from calling it a 'protest' yet. To be fair to them, they have been working diligently over the past couple of weeks, we see the 'approvals' more regularly these days.
My opinion is to keep the context of the flowers & text to be 'encouraging' and 'cheering'. I'll go with the popular vote though:)

UPDATE AT 3:15 PM EST TUESDAY: The latest update we received is the annoucement to be made soon will be as follows:
DHS will be rescinding its July 2 update and the initial July Visa Bulletin will take effect for 31 days – i.e., all employment-based green card categories (except for the “Other Workers” category) will be “current” and CIS will accept applications through August 17.
DHS will issue a press release to this effect later today.
