my employer mentioned they got few approval todays.... ....guys please do not loose focus and lets keep up adding e-mail list and try to reach them as many as possible....we all should get certified soon...keep up the good work....

i have had 3 emails from my id and 1 mail from my office id...so all for good... but we cannot say this is very good ... we have eff 2 weeks and what we will get out of that is not sure ..
We have to see a big turnaround ..not 10 but more than 20 a day for couple of days to set the record straight for Aug 15 th ... considering just the forum people itself ...(Not sure how many is outside)..
but no doubt the email campaign is working ..lets do it by all means ... if we get any emails saying pls dont send out this emails or any warning , then that email id we will remove from the list ....
Lets kep our fingers crossed ... my employer got lost of may & june ... looks like they are having some target and working for it ..but not sure what strategy they have in-store .. hope it all works out for us and we have know them in couple of days ....

It looks that everything is working good. My employer received a ph call from DOL yesterday and the guy asked him some questions regarding my aplication.
Today 12 appvd is very good average.

One of my friend also got approval on July27th. His priority date was March 26th 2007. SO the count is 13 approvals on July 27th.

keep in mind that people don't always come back the day of approval and post it...so 7/27 approvals may be higher....as always some numbers may be off because some people post 'approved' the day they hear about it rather than actual date of approval.

Infact i would say , even if they keep the same speed of 15 a day for some 2 weeks they will be just able to straingthen up things ..not sure they can complete July... But if they continue withe same speed sure till june can be completed..
lets us all wait and see that .. but we should see them on same persistent lines until then ...we wish they do that way ...

I am new at this forum, but I have a question: please help..i APPLIED IN feb 2007 for perm labor, in June got certified and my lawyer was waiting the paper in mail.. This week I checked the status online again and it said ''in progress'' can somebody explain to me why they changed it? please I need your answer..thanks

How did you checked the status? You can ask attorney to inquire about UR case.

Thank you for the replay.My lawyer gave me the adress http://www.plc.doleta.gov/eta_start.cfm?actiontype=home&CFID=2900326&CFTOKEN=1074119 and the case number. I applied in Feb 2007 and of course I checked online almost every day the status.In June I checked again and it said ''certified''. I knew that the lawyer has to receive the paper in mail and when I asked him he did not receive it.Of course I checked the status to see it and it was changed in ''in process''.I am kind of worry.Tomorrow I am going to my employer to see if they got something in the mail from Atlanta.

Any one from iGate..
I'm from iGate and working for them past 8 years. I got my LC approval on Fri, 7/27/2007.
They are such a blood sucker. They told me and have the bull.. policy like they won't do the concurrent filling. Even though USCIS and DOS changed their policy they wont' do the concurrent filling. Just wanted to let you know guys.. Just pass this messaage to any one wants to Join iGate either divison, Like iGate Global Sucking (solution) Ltd, Mascot Ltd... They are suckker... I was with 3 other desi companys before I Joined iGate but they are realy good, comapare to iGate..
Also Is ther any way that I can file I485 on my own with out iGate... If you have any details please help me. I appreciates your help..

Yes, you can absolutely file I-485 by yourself. The only thing you need from your employer is "letter of employment." This letter typically states your position, salary, and availability of the position on permanent basis.
BTW, I am not from iGate.

If you want to apply for I485 on your own, First your employer should file I140. with in two to three weeks you will get the receipt number. You need to mention that receipt number in I485 application. and you also need employment letter from your employer. First let your employer file I140 as soon as possible. Try to get the receipt number if possible get the copy of receipt notice. Try to get the employment letter, thyen you can file I485.

I have a question.
I am hearing conflicting views regarding I-485 filing.
1.Some say in order to become eligible, we need to apply I-140 before July 31st. They say we can E-file.
2Some say, though the labor clears in 1st week, we can apply for 1-140 and I-485 concurrently.
My Atorney agress with No: 1.
Not sure which is true.
Please advice.

Hi , I am an x -iGate ..i was one of the project managers there.. ... i had my labor cleared there but changed company for some reason and this is my 3rd labor ... B'n you can request Viswanth to do it concurrently and they would agree to that ..i have some friends still in iG for who they are applying concurrently. so pls request and it can be done ...

Looks like the email campaign was a great success... But not to mention this so happened in the exact time when they were given orders to speeed up... whatever be we need to see the same success levels for another 2 weeks for all of us to get out of this situtation... One day like this is no good...
But for Rakib , i would request everybody to once again concebntrate on the email again and do our part. i know Rakib will not stop seeing his intensity for cople of days ... pls friends lets keep moving and never stop until the labor is cleared ... if the system slows up by today its almost of no use to us ...
