They are working on some April / March / Feb ... if only other months are cleared then there is a scope to see if a special effort is made through the employer ...but for tht picking the application is alll luck draw ... i have sent 3 communications from my employer (.. nothing much so far...

Yes, I guess Fridays are better for approvals.
Guess I think they need to show some work before they leave early for weekend.

Spoke with employer on sending reminder, they said they will send today. Kept fingers crossed.

Found out things are worse at work than i thought (i'm on vacation and have to go back to it in a bit). But at least i can hope for others....i have some sense of humor today surprisingly...

Seems to be a good day today. I had sent certified mails through USPS to renata, elaine chao, dr.carlson, zoe lofgren, etc. with just my name and city.
Surprisingly, yesterday I received a letter (through post) to my home address from Zoe Lofgren saying that she has forwarded my mail to my local congressman and also asked me to follow up with my local congressman. I really wonder how they found my home address, with just my name.
I'll post the entire content of the letter in the evening, as I don't have it with me right now.

I will send my fax to Zoe Lefgren again today... i think the general feeling is 'today is not a bad day'....

if they can work at this rate and finish of Apr by this weekend .. i am sure next week will be May and the next week will be June .... so lets us all hope we get more today ( i would say 20 + is not a bad thing to start for today)....

Well .... they do not seeem to have a date range on 4/18,4/19 ...... they just seemds to have picked up a stack around that period. Otherwise, March cases and cases like mine ( 12 April ) would have seen the light of day .... unfortunately, none of us knows whats going on.

One recommedation: I sent inquiry via my employer on Aug 1st on company letter head...it seems to make difference..

If possible for you to participate in a rally in D.C do that, even though we all rather to do it in front of ATL. The reason is if the visa numbers are increased then we dont need to have to eagerly wait for our labor approvals.Because if the visa numbers increased and all the un used visa numbers are used every year then all employment based categories would be current. So finally its solving our labor certification problem also!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

vdlrao - I highly understand the importance & the benefits of the increase in visa numbers. I apologize for taking my frustration off the immivoice group for letting us drown when needed. Thanks will do my best!

I too felt saddened by immigration voice's reaction and words posted on their boards regarding our situation. I joined this whole immgration thing in July. Unaware of things that've happened before. To see immigration voice react that way to some people who due to their frustration said some stuff and them lump everyone in that box and refuse help...well...enough said. but we should still support the rally as there is no point in tit for tat. I'll do what I can to support.

My 1st RIR labor certificate submitted on 9/30/2002 was approved on 12/8/2006. It took 4 years and 3 months. Just before it was approved the sponsoring company went bankrupt. My previous 4 years effort and hope was ruined by the slow process.
Am I repeating the same experience and suffering again?
What kind of patience shall I have?
Anyone can help?

My employer told me, raising case reminder really helps in moving the labor file from sleeping in records.This is based on my discussions with him...

my employer does nothing to help...on other hand delays even simple yes/no answers for weeks/months.... :(
