Dont worry ..ATLANTA provides equal oppurtuinty for everybody. Its all in the lucky draw for today. I would say the mix of appls in their box for now is
50 % April
30 % May
10 % June
10 % All other Months ... This is what we are seeing too for quite some time ...
Just wish somebody gets approved offcourse you could be one among them ... but what all i want is Approvals ..i dont like the silence ....
By the way folks ,
if you get a approval and dont update the tracker and go away , USICS will raise a RFE for not updating the tracker..... Our sincere wish is for that .... so pls do what is required before opeing up the bottles for the day on hearing some good news ...

at this rate I could see atleast 50% of the people in this forum getting certified by aug 17th.

Looks like the friday silence is very unusual ... offcourse for the last 3 weeks..maybe they are working on some consolidation and sending all bunch approvals at the eod today... hope thats the case ....

We wouldn't be facing this issue if atlanta had worked in the normal speed during the month of march, april and good part of May. I think we should complain about this to USCIS and try to extend the dates for atlanta perm applicants.
They agreed the tranfer of resources to other issues. We can ask USCIS to provide justice for the mistake commited by ATLANTA

I am sure this has been asked and there are other discussion threads. Apologize for asking this question again.
Does any one for sure know that you can file 140/485 without the hard copy? Like you all, I want to keep my hopes alive but if we need a hard copy then I might just enjoy my weekend like usual forgetting or drink over this worry for freakin labor certification!

you cannot file 140/485 without hard copy..hard copy is a must, ie what i Heard from my attorney yesterday also, i cheked with many attorneys ....all have same opinion...other 140 will be denied......

IF I DON'T SEE more than 10 approvals. I don't think we should waste time on this any longer. Today would be my last day in this forum if I don't see more than 10 approvals. It was nice sharing the frustrations in this forum.

I could not agree more on that one. This forum at the worst is a good outlet for our frustrations with DOL,GC process,our employers,incompetent paralegals and those reckless HR people....

My labour was approved on 08/07/2007 and today my atterney received original hard copy of labor certification.

It seems to be all non Indian approvals. What is going on...... Is there any descrimination?

Believe it or not ps/pcsankar/spd/vdl and all of us who have scored centuries here,
people with less than 10 posts are the only ones getting approvals. 2 times is coincidence, 12+ times is somthing actually happening.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence and there is nothing more to read into it. On the other hand, I appreciate all our chinese friends in taking time to update the stats here. I'm positive there are registered desis out there with their approvals in hand and running around their post-approval documents.

A lot of pakistani's are among those whose cases are over 150 days old. I dont think its just Indians.... Keep your hopes high... but you know what.. i cant keep my hopes high anymore. I have an hour left until 5.00 and after that.. i will wait for my attorney's call... Can't handle it anymore. tired of checking status every other minute...

Guys tell me one thing -
If one of us gets approval on 17th august at around 3.00 PM.
can he still file ? concurrently ? (ofcourse all the papers are ready)
My lawyer said that he has to send papers to california or somewhere and it is an overnight courier.
so for 17th august the approval has to come on 16th august.
is this true for everyone.
please enlighten me if there is a alternative to this.
