Topic: Whats wrong with ATL PERM Center
ATLANTA is a complete shit ... it has played with lifes of many peop,e ... i have many applications approved for my employer who have the same job order as mine but still mine is pending ..where is FIFO here ... its alll some kind of a eye wash . ....
Friends ..i know many dejected folks here ... just be patient ...the next one is not too far ... hopefully we have another one coming our way within couple of yrs ...also one important thinbgt is that .."WE SHOULD ALL GET OUT OF ATLANTA BEFORE THEN atleastg"... this is one pf the fu... thing i have ever seen in my life ... Hopefully i dont want to post anything here ...just update u guys when status chnges ....i wanted to keep quite all these days still could not and was just checking and posting somehting now & then in the site ..but now i feel its time to stop thinking that ATLANBTA ever going to do things properly...

We are in process of applying for the I140/485 -
My lawyer just went for a law meeting where the topic of discussion was Education on EB2.
I have a Masters from the US and that is what the basis of the application is. Masters + 2 yrs and i have both. I have an undergrad from Inida which is only 3 years. I did a one year diploma course which is what covered my 16 years to get into the US programme.
Now the lawyer feels that they might be a RFE since a lot of cases are getting rejected due to this? Anyone face or hear of similar situation like this. I would appriciate a promt reply - i am running out of time.

till now I haven't heard abt the date extension. I am in the same boat as you are. It will be good if they extend. Or else we have to wait and check the sep bulletin just a month away. aug 16th would be the drop dead end to send the courier for 485. so if you get approved by then you can try without the hard copy there is a very small possibility of getting rejected but sure worth a try.

Any body has any idea of what final review is and how many days it would take. Mine was said in the final review when an enquiry is made.

My employer made a phone inquiry ( voice mail of course) over 2 weeks ago. They called (back) today saying "responding to your call... wanted to let u know that ur appl is i nthe "final stages of adjudication"..bla.bla... "
Has anybody been told these words??
I am thinkin of 2 things,
1. This the normal language they use while returning calls
2. My case IS actually the final stages of 'adjudication'

I just got my PERM approved yesterday for what was applied in April ...Am I in the clear if I file the I140 and I1485 concurrently by thursday ?

packet 1. print copy of 140 receipt, attach supporting docs, copy of LC, screenshot of "certified" etc.
packet 2. 485 and 765 and 131 and all supporting doc, copy of 140 filing and copy of LC also.

I heard from my lawyer 7 cases in april and may got approved today. I think we may see some approvals in the evening. I always see the tracker getting updated in the evening. The cases are not from my employer though.

Clarification : There is a rumor in the immigrant community that one can file the I-485 on Friday, August 17th, and that it is sufficient so long as the package is postmarked on that date. This is false. The I-485 package must be received by the USCIS on August 17th. This means, essentially, that all I-485 packages must be sent, at the latest, overnight on Thursday, August 16th for receipt by August 17th.

Murthy.com 'predictions' are for the month of october and the USCIS posted September 'update' with the data they currently have in hand. I'm not supporting Murthy.com by any means, I just feel that by October Murthy/USCIS might have more solid data to predict/update
The EB2 dates are same as June Visa Bulletin's.

hi guys.does any of you know a good lawyer .because mine he 's asking me to pay him 250 dollar if I wana call him and if I want him to answer my questions .after he made a mess with my application .made a mistake on my name .my major . my date of birth. on my labor application. today I call him after hiding my number .and he was very rough with me .and he ask me to send him A CHECK of 250 $ TO answer my question .and he told me on his way that I m in his hand if he wana hurt me he can .please guys if you know any good lawyer please advice because I think I have to file another LC .and have another lawyer file it for me. because this guy he gonna destroy my futur. thanks

dude what city are u in? if you are in NYC or around, I can suggest.
Regardless, you do know that the lawyer represents the petitioner (employer) not you, in an EB case. Is your employer willing to talk to another one? Also, because you are from Indonesia, you do not have much of a retrogression problem. BUT, you may have a done of recruitment, which may still be usable, but only till a specific time limit. e.g. SWA prevailing wage is valid for 3 months, etc.
So, whatever the fuck you need, get in touch with your emplr, expalin the situation, expalin how the attrny fucked up, wasted all recruiment efforts, time n money, their n yours. If they agree, explain to them that you still be able to use some or all recruiting steps, find your self a new lawyer and do it all over.
Honestly, fuck that stupid attrny.
