Atlanta PERM backlog starts from Jan 07. Now that Jan, Feb and April cases are moving along, no approvals for March, May and June. Theory is, they divided the back log into two (Jan-March, April-current) and process them concurrently. Motive behind this could be to reduce the total number of complaints but at the price of slow Jan, Feb cases approval and the sacrifice of March cases : ( Where is the fairness and FIFO?

If that is the case, we are screwed!! We are in the middle :(
What can we do? My anxiety level is super high and we are just starting this journey..... I faxed, called, e-mailed, contacted Senators, everything.... BUA!!!!! ; )

This is my 2nd labor certificate, it has been pending since 3/7/2007. It has been 149 days (46 days more than the average)!
My 1st RIR labor certificate submitted on 9/30/2002 was approved on 12/8/2006. It took 4 years and 3 months. Just before it was approved the sponsoring company went bankrupt. So many years of effort and hope was ruined by the slow process.
Am I repeating the same experience and suffering again?
What kind of patience shall I have?
Anyone can help? Any solutions or suggestions?

Why don't you get your attorney/employer to send a letter stating your case number and ask for the status. They might approve it right away.
