I have received the approval letter for my husband's sponsorship, dated the 25th of February, but can still not find information on ECAS, am I doing something wrong or should I just be patient?

Why? cause E-cas is an inconsistent little biatch. thats why. They just created that site to revert the volume of calls they would get otherwise from people concerned about their files/cases. Like someone else said, that website is a joke. Its like a carrot that CIC throws at the applicants to let them play around with and not bother them.
Dont rely solely on E-cas. Wait for mail. its usually delays in mail that get us all restless.
Or you could be just logging in incorrectly.
Use your file# your last name and all the info about you and try to login.

Regarding sponsorship, the info on e-case is available by using your receipt number and the sponsors information.
Your PR application is on its way to whichever embassy is going to process it. That information will be under the PR applicants file number and personal information. You will get the file number once you receive th letter of "Acknowlegement of Receipt" Wait for it. The new number is written on the label.
