My Application Started on june30/06 in buffalo.
I am in canada since 2003 and i have finished my school in jan 2008. I have submitted my work permit in feb 26th 2008.
Till now i have no information about my application.

When did u have your medicals? What about Police certificates and IA?

I filed my application in June 30 2006 in buffalo. I submitted IELTS in Oct 2007.I mailed the documents for my college in 2008 with diploma certificate.
I submitted my work permit in Feb 2008.Till today date haven't received medical or any other query.

Ok, since your interview is scheduled for May, prepare for the same. You will soon get the medicals and probably in couple of more months you should be PR receipent!!!!

Ooops....a mistake and I apologize for that. I mixed your case with someone else case. Forget about interview if they havent asked. But yeah they should be sending the medicals.
I suggest one more thing. Since you are in Canada, submit the request for your CAIPS notes - http://caips.ca/ . These notes will help u in identifying your file progress. You may have to pay some money for it but it should be worth :)

If you are in Canada it should not take that long. I would suggest to call Buffalo and ask whats going on or hire a lawyer.

Get CAIPS & FOSS notes, and also remember to mail Buffalo all photocopies of all you canadian work permits that u renew every year, Tax statements, bank statements, pay tubs, latest employment letter.etc
My friend is on Canadian work permit, and he applied in Apr 2006, and he had the same issue.....he hadnt mailed his last years CAD- work permit to CIC, Buffalo..........and after he did that, he raised a SR /w some nonprofit org thats like an onbudsman, and they got back to him that his file is under review. My friend got his medicals last month!

Thanks for the reply, If you can tell me what exactly onbudsman did, because i got the mail from buffalo they said your file in process waiting for officer review.
I am still waiting no other choice

Did you get your CAIPS notes for the purpose? The reply from cosulate is very generic and usually they specify same to many ppl. CAIPS notes will sureshot help in understanding where your application is right now!!!!!!
